A LIFE OF THE SCRIPTURES

KEY SCRIPTURE: John 19:36 KJV “For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.”

Our Lord Jesus is the living word of God. He practically demonstrated the scriptures. The legs of the Lord were not supposed to be broken because it was a prophetic word.  That his legs would not be broken. Psalms 34:20 How can we make God’s word function and manifest in our lives?

Our lives are directed and controlled by the words of our mouths. The Lord taught that we receive what we say and believe (Mark 11:23).

The next thing that controls our life is the consistent and violent prayers that we offer unto the Lord continually.

Heb 5:7 KJV” Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death and was heard in that he feared;”

The Lord ensured that His future and all that the Father had said about Him was established because He diligently endeared Himself in a consistent violent prayer life. Please note these words CONSISTENT, VIOLENT, and PRAYER. This is exactly what the Lord Jesus did.

Pattern your life after this order. Remember that “the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available, dynamic in its working.” James 5:16 AMPC. Your prayers are not empty or a waste of time. They are establishing for you a very secure future. The scripture says, “Come boldly to the throne of grace, that you may obtain mercy to find grace to help in the time of need.” (Heb 4:16)

Now, in addition to a life of prayer, you must speak out the promises or prophecies of scripture concerning your victory and stability.

Please, religion, which is men trying to do certain practices and beliefs to be acceptable before God, teaches that we either fail or win. It is in God’s hands. Please, this is a teaching from human traditions. Please listen to the truth. We are representatives of Jesus.

Jesus is forever victorious and can never know failure. We can’t be defeated because we are reflecting His victory. Any failure on our part means we dissociated ourselves from Him through fear or unbelief.

Use the words of scripture to wage good warfare. (1 Tim 1:18)

THOUGHT: MAKE USE OF THE WORD, TO MAKE THE WORD WORK IN YOU
