FOUR RINGS

KEY SCRIPTURE: Exo 25:12 KJV “And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it.”

The Lord instructed Moses to place four golden rings at the upper corners of the Ark. He was to insert a staff of shittim fully plated with Gold. These rings were designed to facilitate easy movement of the Ark from one point to another.

What is the significance of these rings to us as the living Ark of God? These rings stand for a life of surrender. To have those rings means it was ever ready to be carried to wherever the priest chose. The child of God must cease to be in control of his life. Any child of God in control of his or her life is of no use to the Lord. The Lord said in John 12:24,25 that ” Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.” The Lord taught that you would be virtually fruitless if you hold to your life and are not ready to let Him have it. He even said that the one who does not love Him above his father, mother, wife, brothers or sisters, sons and daughters, and even his very life cannot be His disciple. Luke 14:26. The word servant of God also means a slave of God. This means you have no choice of your own.

The mark of all those God used mightily was people who totally yielded to the Lord. At Gethsemane, the Lord Jesus, seeing the weight of what He was to go through, asked the Father to take the cup of suffering away, yet He added, not my will but thy will be done. Please note that the secret of an anointed man or woman of God is a totally surrendered life. That is the life placed on the altar of sacrifice. The fire always comes on such sacrifice. Apostle Paul said, for me to live is Christ, and to die is gain ” (Phil 1:21). The man was stoned almost to death, yet he rose by God’s grace, and was ready to continue preaching in the next towns. His life did not mean so dear to him. No wonder he was so anointed that he healed all the sick who were brought to him, at the Island of Malta.

Today, we decide to open up to the Holy Spirit. Let him have every aspect of your life. Forsake every sinful way. You would soon realise the great joy that would flood your soul.

PRAYER

Father, I yield my life to you. Whatever area of my life that I used to be in control of is surrendered to you. I also turn away from any sinful way. Take my life and let it be consecrated Lord to thee.

GRACED WITH GOLD 3

KEY SCRIPTURE: Exo 25:11 KJV “And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.”

We continue with some of the significance of the gold in the Ark of the Covenant. In our heading for this study, we described it as graced with Gold. To have gold on the wood is an act of grace. Consider the wood with its many shortcomings, and the gold covers all these. This is grace. The presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is just the same. The Holy Spirit fully covers our inefficiencies. Sadly, most children of God are still walking in the flesh.

Another significance of the gold is that it brings glory to the wood. You are glorified by the presence of the Holy Spirit. Rom 8:30 KJV “Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.” Glory is splendor, beauty, majesty, and power. This is what the gold stands for in the Ark. Please note that the glory of God is very synonymous with purity. There can never be the glory of God outside Holiness or purity. Exo 28:2 KJV “And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.” Aaron and the priesthood were to have holy garments that showed glory and beauty. Garments always talk about the manner of life. It is about how you walk. Your dealings must be done in purity or Holiness. Wherever God is, His glory is there. It is your holiness that keeps his presence around you. Heb 12:14 KJV “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:” Since holiness is the foundation for our relation with the Lord, let me state the main components of holiness. They are love, light, and being just.

Once again, as children of God, we have been brought into glory. Heb 2:10 KJV” For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.” This glory is not a future one. It is given through our relationship with Jesus. It is explained in our exaltation with Jesus in the heavenly realms far above all principalities and powers Eph 2:6. This glory makes us winners on the earth, for it is an all-surpassing power. 1Pet 2:9 KJV” But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” Our activities on the earth is to show forth the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. This is not about saying his praises, but doing things that would make men see His works in us and give Him the praise. It is this glory in us that shows His great power through us.

CONFESSION

Thank you, Lord, for bringing me into glory by the presence of the Holy Spirit. I maintain this glory as I walk in holiness, living with a sincere conscience towards God and man

The glory of God in my life has given me victory in all aspects of my life as men see it and glorify the name of my father.

GRACED WITH GOLD 2

KEY SCRIPTURE: Exo 25:11 KJV “And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about”.

The Lord instructed Moses to ask those making the Ark to overlay the wood with Gold. Every part was to be covered with Gold. The Ark appeared like a completely golden box. Why did God make it that way? Please know that this was the house of God and nothing carnal must relate to God. I explained that the wood symbolised human flesh. God is a Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in truth John 4:24.The  flesh has infirmities or weaknesses that would make it unacceptable to render any services to God. Now the gold is a symbol of divinity or the Spirit.

The Gold has the following status.

1. Perfect purity or Holiness

2. Glory

3. Spiritual.

4. Sacrificial

We consider each status in turn

1 Perfect purity and Holiness

Pure gold is refined at a temperature of 1064 degrees Celsius. At that temperature, no impure substance would survive. They would all sublime into gases. God is a holy God. Exo 15:11 KJV “Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?” God’s throne is identified with Holiness. Nothing impure can and should come near Him. The wood that is the flesh cannot have that level of purity. Wood would burn at a temperature between 280-500 degrees Celsius. It cannot in any way be compared to gold. The spirit cannot sin, but the flesh does. The bible says in Rom 8:10 that our flesh is dead because of sin, and the spirit is life because of righteousness. This means in our dealings and service of the Lord, the flesh should be totally relegated to the background. Like the wood in the Ark, it is perfectly hidden, although it is very present

The wood only carries or is a frame for the gold. It does nothing again. Any work or deed done in the flesh or that seeks the praise of self is totally unacceptable before God. This is the reason God opposes the proud. Pride is the height of the display of the flesh. All strive, wrong competitive spirit, acts that seek the praise of men are all works of the flesh and are unacceptable in the sight of God. God’s expectation of us is holiness unto the Lord, and this implies yielding totally to the Spirit’s influence and dominance. In our role as the living Ark of God, we must consciously or deliberately give no place to the flesh. It is supposed to be fully in the background. This is what would make all the presence of God in us perfectly manifest His power. Remember our Lord Jesus was the first living Ark of God, we must follow His example to manifest that same power of God.

PRAYER

Father, I surrender my flesh to the dominance of the Spirit. I give it no place to control or influence my actions. Let the Spirit continually rule my life to bring glory to your name.

GRACED WITH GOLD

KEY SCRIPTURE: Exo 25:11 KJV “And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about.”

The Lord asked that Moses instruct the makers of the Ark to overlay it with Gold, both inside and outside. There is so much to discuss about this act, but let’s pause for a moment and talk about the basic significance of the Ark. God Almighty lives in heaven. He needed a place and a means where men could come to Him, seek forgiveness, and he could likewise talk to them and also leave a testimony among men that He is alive among men. The ark was that means. Dear brethren, this role has squarely been laid on us, His children.

Our Lord Jesus on earth was a physical representation of God. Everything about God could be seen, received, and presented to Him. Jesus was the only begotten of the Father, and so the only living Ark of God. John 3:16. From the day He died and resurrected, everyone who believed in Him became the begotten Son of God. John 1:12 KJV But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” Dear ones, our Lord Jesus is no longer the only begotten Son of God; every one of us who has truly surrendered his life unto Him is also begotten of God. He or she enrolls as a living Ark of God.

The Ark reveals God. It shows His power. Miracles are wrought wherever the Ark goes. When the high priest presents the blood of the animal once a year, the presence of God manifests as fire over the mercy seat, and He speaks to them. In our time, our Lord Jesus has sacrificed His blood once and for all for the eternal redemption of mankind. Heb 9:12 KJV “Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.” We do not need any sacrifices made to us, but we make sacrifices on their behalf through our intercessory ministry. Every Christian is a priest, and intercession for humanity is our first calling. 1Ti 2:1 KJV “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;” Intercession is not a pleasure trip it is a real sacrifice and that is what moves God’s hands to intervene as well communicate His mind for the people. Intercession is not a duty of a special few. Every Christian is a priest, and it is a must for you to make intercession for all humanity.

I pray that the Holy Spirit would enable us to appreciate our role as the living Ark of God, to reveal God to humanity like our master Jesus successfully did.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus, help me to understand my true representation in the Ark of testimony, so that men would encounter God through my testimony. Let whatever way, thing, or person that may be a stumbling block be taken off my way, in Jesus’ name I pray.

DISCOVERING YOURSELF IN THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

KEY SCRIPTURE: Exo 25:10 KJV “And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.”

We would consider the various components of the Ark and consider how they paint or describe the true nature of the Christian. I believe that having this clear picture of how God has made us would urge us to walk in our true nature and capacity as sons of God.

Our key scripture says the ark was to be made of shittim wood. Shittim is the same as acacia wood. Dear one, wood in the scriptures always represents man. Psalm 1:2,3 speaks of the man who delights in the word as a tree planted by the rivers of water. In Judges 9:7-18, Jotham, the only son of Gideon who escaped from the massacre of the sixty-one sons of Gideon, described how they ultimately settled on Abimelech, who killed his brothers. He described it by saying the trees wanted a king and went to various trees, which refused to rule over them. Finally, they settled on the bramble tree, which was Abimelech. By these analogies, I wish to establish that trees in the bible symbolise men. The shittim wood talks of human flesh.

The shittim wood is very durable. Shittim has a natural resistance to water and decay. It also has high versatility, making it a good choice for various uses and woodwork. It responds well to fine polishing. There are more beautiful qualities of the acacia wood which I may not go into for now. One may ask how we compare this to our frail, weak, sinful body. This is the error we have always held about ourselves. The bible teaches that at our conversion, everything changed about us. It says in Rom 8:3,4 that what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh. Romans 6:6 also reveals that “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.” Sin is the master or seed of corruption; its destruction from us meant a new body full of strength and wholeness. Romans 8:11 informs us that the Holy Spirit in us gives life to our mortal flesh.

Let me show you another reason why our bodies as children of God are not the old delipidated ones. In Matthew 9:16,17 the Lord taught that no one will put new wine into an old wineskin. For the new wine to be safely preserved, it must be put into a new wine skin that is strong enough to endure any future fermentation of the wine. In the light of all that I have described about us, may we change our mindset about ourselves as weak, sinful, ailing people left to the mercy of any evil that blows around. We are God’s substance for His dwelling place and must be of the highest excellent durability in every way.

CONFESSION

Thank you, heavenly father, for your perfect work in me, even in my flesh. You took from me the power of sin and its corresponding effects of sickness. I am made qualified by your grace to be a house or a temple for you. I am humbled by this knowledge and awareness. May your name be praised forevermore.

THE PRESENT DAY ARK OF GOD

KEY SCRIPTURE: Exo 25:10 KJV “And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof.”

Please Read Exodus 25:1-28

The word ark means simply a box. It could be as large as Noah’s Ark or the Ark of the Covenant, which was a dwelling place of God among the Israelites under the Old Covenant. Before we examine the construction of the ark and the significance of its various aspects, I wish to establish that God no longer dwells in buildings or human-made structures, as was the case under the old covenant. This era ended when the Lord died on the cross. Acts 17:24 KJV “God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;” The temples made by men were His dwelling and a place of meeting with men. This was a most Holy place that the priest went there once in a year. Heb 9:7 KJV” But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:”

When the Lord died, the veil that separated every ordinary man from entering was rent from top to bottom. Matt 27:51 KJV” And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;” For the veil to tear from top means it was not done by any man. It also signaled a new era, where God no longer dwelt in that temple. Men became the temple of God. 1Co 3:16 KJV” Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?”  He (God) used to dwell in the ark, but from that day he ceased to dwell there. He actually came to live in men after the Lord Jesus resurrected from the dead. Every Christian is the present-day ark of God.

The Ark was a place of mercy. The Christian must demonstrate mercy through intercession for the lost.

In light of what I have said above, I would like to address the issue of whether the altars in our churches hold any power. The altar may just be a wooden structure or a concrete structure, yet the anointing upon the man of God who preaches on the altar flows unto the altar, making it bear the same anointing. As Paul touched handkerchiefs and aprons that carried the anointing (Acts 19), and the garment of Jesus could heal the sick, so does the platform on which the anointed man of God preaches bear that anointing. There are instances of people being healed by just sitting on the seat of an anointed man of God. A dead boy was placed on a cement platform where a man of God usually prays at night. These people did not know that that was a prayer place of the man of God. The dead boy was miraculously raised to life. The anointing is like oil, it flows down, and would rub on anything it comes into contact with. Ps 133:2

OVERCOMING SIN AS WELL AS DEALING WITH ITS CONSEQUENCES

KEY SCRIPTURE: 2 Samuel 13:21” But when King David heard of all these things, he was very wroth”.

Evil began brewing in the house of David. One of the sons of David, who is his first son called Amnon raped his own sister called Tamar. A demon of immorality has entered into the house of David. It is right to describe how this happened to accuse Ammon of this error. Without holding brief for him, yet he was under a great influence of evil without any support or assistance to overcome. His father, by his actions, had permitted the ‘enemies of God’ into his house. Now, the David, who enjoyed a life of peace and victories all around, is having his home and life in deep trouble.  For a life of peace and a continual stream of successes, decide to honour God and his word no matter the situation.

What is our answer to a victorious life? Rom 6:14 reads, For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law but under grace. Some misunderstand grace and so give themselves to sin, claiming the grace of God would take care of their sin. Please, this is an error. The grace of God is God’s supernatural ability in you to help you win over sin and other life matters. The first thing is to know that you have a supernatural power in you to live above sin. The next is to yield to this power. You yield to this power by acknowledging that through your union with Christ, you have become the very righteousness of God, and so you have no business yielding to sin. Whenever sin comes knocking at your door, remind yourself and the voice appealing to you that you cannot stoop low and defile your perfect nature.

What do you do when you falter and the enemy turns the heat against you? God, our Father, is never happy when things go that way, but has made a way in Christ for victory.  It is when the child of God allows guilt to fill his mind that the enemy freely rains a barrage of attacks upon attack on him. The Bible says there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit” (Romans 8:1). Some versions omit the second part that says “those who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit”. This part cannot be taken out because the subsequent verses teach that to walk in the flesh is death. When you walk in the flesh, you are condemned. What does it mean to walk in the flesh? It simply means to walk according to the senses. One simple word for this is unbelief. Unbelief means you walk according to what you can see or feel. Faith is to believe what God has said, although you don’t see or feel it. When you act and live this way, nothing can defeat you.

Jesus was punished for us. (Isaiah 53:4-5). Be strong to stand your ground on the finished work of Jesus. Tell the devil he cannot punish you for whatever has happened. Jesus was punished for our sins, and you don’t have to suffer for it. The scripture claims that the man who takes a stand on what the scripture has said has no condemnation. God does not condemn you, and Satan cannot condemn and afflict you because you are walking and trusting in Jesus’ finished work.

Please note that the strength of sin is the law. Don’t place yourself under the law. Take advantage of the great sacrifice and penalty Jesus suffered for us. On such occasions, Satan would not easily give in. Do hold your ground and fight your way to freedom. Speak out the promises of scripture and rest on them.

 PRAYER

Oh, God, open the eyes of all Christians to walk in the Spirit and consistently take their stand against the enemy. May the body of Christ grow into its full stature, that is, like Jesus.

WHEN CHILDREN OF GOD GIVE ACCESS TO THE ENEMY IN THEIR LIVES

KEY SCRIPTURE: 2 Samuel 12:9 “Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon”.

David’s life reveals to us the two main aspects of life.

1. Total victory

2. Total trouble.

A life that is committed to God and always pleases God will bring you Total victory (meaning overcoming every opposition or difficulty that comes at you) and avoid what brings total trouble (being helpless and defeated by the opposition and difficulties that come at you). Reading through 2nd Samuel 12, we see that the prophet Nathan brought God’s word to David. He exposed his sin unto him. David did not attempt to defend himself as Saul did. 2nd Samuel 12:13 “And David said unto Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord, and Nathan said unto David, The Lord also had put away the sin, thou shalt not die “. The Lord added the following to what He said earlier. However, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto you shall surely die. (2nd Samuel 12:14). Who are the enemies of God that blaspheme the name of God? Satan and his host of devils.

When the children of God walk uprightly, God praises them to the devil. God is excited when His children are faithful unto Him. (Job 1:8). When the child of God falters and fails, Satan also scorns God and blasphemes. Don’t allow the devil to blaspheme the name of God because of your mistakes. Prophet Nathan listed certain punishments that will come on David and his house. All the judgements that were to come on David were the legal attack of Satan that God could do nothing about. The Lord permitted the enemies of his because they had the legal right. He said the sword will never leave his house. David took Bathsheba in the closet but his wives will be raped openly. All these were done by his children. Do you think God caused these things? No, it was the right of the enemies of God to attack. Dear child of God, give no occasion for the enemies of God to attack you…

Our Lord Jesus, on the cross, bore the full judgement and punishment of God for every sin now and in the future. Galatians 3:13 says, he Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, for it is written, cursed is everyone that is hanged on a tree”. Whenever Satan claims the right to assault you, please turn to Galatians 3:13 and refuse his onslaught against your life. This does not give license to sin. Sin may weaken your resolve to lay hold of God’s provision in Christ.

Don’t give place to sin. Don’t allow Satan to torment you on any grounds. Lay claim to the finished work of our Lord Jesus.

 CONFESSION

My Lord Jesus was made a curse for me and has blotted out every ordinance that opposed me and nailed it to the cross; there is therefore now no condemnation for me, because I am in Christ and I walk in the Spirit.

FURTHER STUDIES.

Romans 8:1” There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit”.

Colossians 2:14” Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;”

GOD NEVER ACCEPTS WRONG, NO MATTER WHO COMMITS IT- 2

KEY SCRIPTURE: 2 Samuel 11:13 “And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.”

King David tries to make Uriah go to his wife and sleep with her, yet the husband of Bathsheba, would not go home to his wife. David has been successful in most of his life because in all those times he acted to honour God. This time he was acting against the word of God, and so he has no grace to make him succeed. Dear child of God, be sure that any wrong action you undertake will never have God’s approval. If you give a bribe to obtain a job, be sure God is not involved.

When all of David’s plans to get Uriah to go to his house failed, he decided to use his position as the king to do something God had not asked any man to do. He planned Uriah’s death. David at this moment, rebelled against the word of God. No man must take the life of his neighbour. How on Earth could a man like David get to such an extent? He allowed his position as a king to dominate his awareness that he is a king by grace. Dear leader or person of authority, never feel your life is more valuable than the life of another human. Position and authority are God’s design to fulfill His program. It does not make you a better human than another human.

Did David have to go that far? No, he should have admitted his sin before God and then informed the elders of Israel, who would have handled the case in the light of God’s law as well as David’s position as the king. His main concern was to hide the issue of the baby. TRUTH CAN NEVER BE COVERED. RATHER FACE IT TODAY AND BE AT PEACE TOMORROW.

This act of immorality had been a Waterloo for all kinds of people, including pastors. How can the child of God keep himself? The Lord’s answer is an acknowledgement of the work of the cross. Any man who comes to Christ no longer has his old man of sin reigning in him. (Romans 6:6). The very spirit in him is the Spirit of Christ. He becomes a spirit living in a human body. Never lose consciousness of the fact that you are a spirit living in a human body. You are not just a spirit, but your very spirit is the spirit of Christ. As a man, you can easily fall. As a spirit, you can’t fall. Always maintain that you are a spirit housed in a body. Your body is a house in which you express yourself. Take time to build this consciousness into you. You are a perfect spirit and can’t sin. (1st John 3:9) Say this to yourself daily. Never say I am a man and can easily sin. This is where most men, even great ministers, falter and Satan takes advantage of them. Your words control you.

CONFESSION

My spirit is one with the Spirit of Christ. My spirit is my real self. My body is a house for me. My spirit, which is the spirit of Christ, cannot sin. I cannot sin. My body never dictates to me, for I rule over my body, and I am always led by my spirit.

FURTHER STUDIES.

1 John 3:9” Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”

Romans 6:14 ” For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

GOD NEVER ACCEPTS WRONG, NO MATTER WHO COMMITS IT

KEY SCRIPTURE: 2 Sam 11:27 KJV” And when the mourning was past, David sent and fetched her to his house, and she became his wife, and bare him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the LORD.”

David masterminded the death of Uriah and then boldly went for his wife. How could a man like David descend so low? David, for once, allowed his position as a king to override the superiority of God. He lost the fact that God would not agree with the wrong actions of men, no matter who does it. This has been one area certain men of God have failed miserably. They misconceive that since they do so much for God, God would have no problems with them when they act against the word of God. Some of them would flirt with girls within the church and have no regret at all. God has no favourites. God’s favourites are those who honour His word. Acts 10:34 KJV Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him: –

One fact that every man must know is that all flesh is the same before God. Whatever gifts or abilities we may have come from God. God blessed us with such gifts to glorify His name. They were not given to us for self-glory or to make us important than any man. The next thought to hold is that no matter your status in this life, you are never superior to anybody. David used his position to kill Uriah. This is one of the highest offences to commit against God. It was not just a sin against Uriah but an act against God. God had said thou shalt not murder. The ten commandments also said you shall not covet your neighbour’s wife. Exodus 20:1-12. David broke all these laws. The bible said God was not pleased with what he did.

What can we do so we do not become victims of such an act, or better still, we do not fall into such an act? The book of James 3.1 2 gives us a clue. James 3:2 KJV” For in many things we offend all. If any man offends not in word, the same is a perfect man, and he is able to bridle the whole body.” The word of truth shows us that we hold the key to whether we would fail or overcome. It says we offend or err in all things, why, because people speak against the word of God. When a man says I am flesh and blood, and so I am subject to make such mistakes, he has set the stage for failure. The truth says 1Jn 3:9 KJV” Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” This must be our confession always because the scripture in James 3:2b said a man who does not offend in word, that is, speaks in line with the word of God, is a perfect man, and he is able to control his whole body. When you keep speaking the truth according to the scriptures, the flesh would be subjected to what you have been saying.

CONFESSION

I am born of God. His seed is in me, and so I do not sin for I am led by the Spirit. I acknowledge that I am not superior to any person. God is the Lord and the one who has given me my gifts, which I use to glorify His name.
