FAITH AND GOOD CONSCIENCE 3

KEY SCRIPTURE:1Ti 1:19 KJV” Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:”

In our previous two studies, we looked at how a good conscience, as right judgment, affects our faith walk. This time, we look at the impact of conscience in its conventional meaning, that is, the impact of moral uprightness on our faith. Your faith is a divine means to conquer every challenge that may come our way. Eph 6:16 KJV “Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.” Faith is always the victory, according to 1 John 5:4. Faith is the victory, and it must always be genuine. One thing that can seriously affect our faith is incorrect morals. Faith cannot be strong when sin has any portion in you. The strength of faith is the love we have in our hearts for God, for faith works by love.

Apostle Paul says those who have not kept a good conscience in addition to the faith make a shipwreck of their faith. Revelations 12:11 reveals a very important truth about faith. Rev 12:11 KJV” And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.”The very first two points that bring victory are only made effective by the third point, which says they loved not their lives even unto death. This statement means they were totally yielded unto the Lord, such that they are ready to stand for Him even at the peril of their lives. It also means they are absolutely yielded to pleasing the Lord. One fact about any yielded vessel is uprightness or moral excellence. This is what makes their faith very strong and conquering.
When Satan went to God to seek to bring Job down, he made the following statement, Skin for skin, a man would give everything for his life Job 2:4. He meant men would sacrifice anything for their life. It means a man would do anything wrong to preserve his life. In light of this, if a man does not love his life even unto death, then he would be ready to maintain the highest level of integrity. By their high integrity or good conscience, their faith was very strong and so conquered. This is the main truth of Rev 12:11

Our Lord Jesus exhibited the highest level of holiness. He said I sanctify myself so they may also be sanctified. The Lord had a very active faith and performed so many feats because of His living faith. The word also assures us of reigning in life by the gift of righteousness and the abundance of grace. Rom 5:17 KJV “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” Never play down on your path of righteousness. Righteousness is called an armour on our left and right side 2Co 6:7 KJV” By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,” The sceptre or authority of our Kingdom is righteousness. Heb 1:8 KJV “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.”

FAITH AND GOOD CONSCIENCE 3

FAITH AND GOOD CONSCIENCE 2

KEY SCRIPTURE:1Ti 1:19 KJV Holding faith and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:

In our previous study we considered holding faith and a good conscience as a vital means of staying strong in the faith.Among all that was said we said a good conscience is basically to have a pure moral integrity towards God and men..In addition to having moral integrity a good conscience also involves having a good judgement about various issues of life. There have been certain individual’s who did not judge rightly and so suffered very badly. The story is told of some brethren who were supposed to join a boat to cross the volta lake. The rain was very high that day. These brethren said since Jesus walked on the water, they would also do likewise and by faith walk across the water. These brethren were unfortunately swept off by the water and they got drawn. This is a very unfortunate incident and these brethren did not exercise a good judgement and so lost their lives.

Why did they fail to get the results they expected.?This was a case of poor judgement .Please know that real faith does not fail. Mark 9:23 KJV” Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” Something went wrong in this very incident.Did they need to cross the lake walking on the water.Where was the boat at that hour .God loves to have His children function in the supernatural, but were they ready to exercise their faith at that instant.Apostle Paul tells the church to employ faith and a good conscience or good judgement. What was their motive at that hour.Is your decision to take a particular faith stance because the word of God promises to provide or you want to prove how great you are.

There have been certain men of God who would never rest nor listento certain signals that their bodies need rest. They keep going till one day their bodies just give up.Some are hit by irrepairable paralysis or they just die.In some ocassions they suuffer these conditions right in church when they were preaching.Dear servant of God you have to employ faith and a good judgement in all your dealings.Know when the spirit is demanding a special sacrifice and when you have to rest.Mar 6:31 KJV” And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.”
The disciples were so busy that they had no time to rest nor even eat because of the multitudes that kept coming and going. The Lord insisted they stop to rest and eat.Do not kill yourself before you finish your assignment. The Lord needs you to fulfil your ministry

FAITH AND GOOD CONSCIENCE

KEY SCRIPTURE:1Ti 1:19 KJV” Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:”

We continue with our study on Paul’s first letter to Pastor Timothy. This time he advises him to hold faith and a good conscience so he does not make a ship wreck of his Christian journey.Lets consider a few definitions so we can understand what he is talking about.Faith has to do with the assurance we have in God such that we count as true whatever He tells us in His word. The Lord simplified it in His statement to Thomas in
Joh 20:29 KJV “Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.” The Lord explained that to have faith is to believe what God said without seeing it.He said such one is blessed.A good conscience is to be truthful, sincere or fair in your heart towards God about whatever you are dealing with.Holding a good conscience means not being prejudiced about anything or persons. It means not being partial but at all instances your judgements are thoughts that honour the will of God no matter who is involved or how advantageous it may be to you.God our father does not show favouritism. The people God seem to favour are those who have honoured God’s word so they attract the rewards of their actions.1Sa 2:30 KJV “Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.” To be of good conscience is to be morally upright

Secondly a good conscience as much as it has to do with being sincere, impartial, it also relates to rightly judging matters. The Lord at a point in his ministry ordered Peter to go catch a fish and in the mouth of that fish there was a coin.Peter went and brought the coin with which the Lord paid their tax. Please note that was the only time he got money that way.For the rest of the times the money he used to pay the taxes and bought food were the fruits of his ministry among the people. God gave manna to the Israelites when they were in the wilderness for the forty years, but the moment they got to the promised land where they could farm and grow their own food, manna ceased. For one to be successful in life and ministry we must know when faith must be applied and when the right judgement to act in a way as to play your role as a man.Faith in God has levels and degrees and one needs to grow his faith to whatever level that can really be functional to obtain results.

When does one apply faith or good judgement? Please note that true faith can get whatever it wants, but would you use faith to travel overseas without flying in an aeroplane? Would you use faith to always find money in your pocket and not to earn it from your labour? There comes occasions that simply need a miracle, and your faith must come to play. I was once praying with some brethren at Achimota gardens. The sun suddenly started scorching us so badly, I lifted my hands and asked the clouds to cover the sun for the duration we prayed. The clouds covered the sun for us to have that period of cool weather. If there was a hall nearby, there would not have been any need to exercise faith for the clouds to give us that shade. We just had to move into the hall. There have been testimonies of brethren who realised the fuel in their car fuel tank was finished, yet there was no gas station to refuel. They had to pray and trust God to send them home on an empty tank, and God honoured their faith. What we should be careful about is not to weaken our faith with common sense to the degree that , there is nothing supernatural about us.May we rightly apply faith and a good conscience to safely walk this Christian life.

Making a good warfare by prophecies 2

KEY SCRIPTURE:1Ti 1:18 KJV “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that ththem mightest war a good warfare;”

In our previous study we considered the fact that we always have a role to play in bringing to pass what God has said to us in prophecy.I believe some of us readers may be asking, since I do not have any direct word of prophecy how does this message apply to me? Dear one every scripture is God’s word and any one of them that applies specifically to your case becomes a word of prophecy to you.Anytime you hear the word of God and you decide to act on it, it becomes a word of rhema, that is God’s word specifically to you for a particular assignment. You also can have a word of prophecy for your life as you accept the word and decide to act on it.Isaiah 55:3 says” Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.” In this scripture the Holy Spirit says as you incline your ear, and you really hear what is said, the Lord would also enter into an everlasting covenant with you.He calls that covenant the sure mercies of David.Beloved you do not have to go around searching for a prophet to prophecy over you before you can know you have a word from God.The word you receive from God’s written word is also a word of prophecy.

Now since you have such a word from God you must make a good warfare to establish that word into your life.Let’s consider Jesus statement to Peter and also to the church as a whole, in Matt 16:18″ And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” This statement goes for all Christians, especially church workers, including pastors and church leaders, It is a word of assurance that he would build His church and the gates of hell would not prevail against it.In case your particular congregation is under a demonic attack you go to this verse in prayer declaring that this is what God has said, and for that matter nothing can wreck or dismantle it.You consistently use this verse to pray and add fasting if necessary. The devil knows he can not prevail against the church but would attack any way hoping the Christians may give in and he would triumph and make havoc.
Dear child of God, never relent in resisting him.Satan is eternally established to be a failure. No matter how hard he strikes, never give in to his schemes.

Psalm 125:3 reads, ” For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.” The Lord says to every child of God under satanic assault that God has never sanctioned such a thing.( the rod is an instrument for punishment)Stand on this scripture and resist the devil till he leaves you alone.1Pe 5:9 KJV “Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” The word says conclusively, and this is eternally established in heaven( Ps 110:89) that no devil should have the right to torment a child of God.Note this ,;one may be legally tormented if he breaks God’s word and lives in sin. This is the only grounds that the devil could punish a child of God.
The moment this person repents and turns from that path of sin no devil should have the right to perpetuate that illegal activity in the life of the Christian.Dear child of God , if you find yourself in such a situation stand on this scripture and a whole lot of other verses like, Lk 10:19, Isaiah 54:17, Isa 43:2,3 and many more.Make a good warfare and free yourself from any illegal oppression of the wicked one.

THOUGHT: IF YOU RESIST THE DEVIL ENOUGH , HE WOULD FLEE FROM YOU

FUTHER STUDIES

Jas 4:7 KJV” Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

Isa 43:2 KJV” When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

Making a good warfare by prophecies

KEY SCRIPTURE :1Timothy 1:18 KJV “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;”

Apostle Paul charged Timothy concerning the prophecies that the Holy Spirit gave him .He was to organise his life in accordance to these prophecies .In addition to being guided by the prophecies, he was also supposed to wage war by the prophecies. What does this mean ?.The Christian comes under all forms of demonic schemings to hold him down or move him from his place of truth.Satan’s attack may come in any form targeting your confidence in the Lord. The admonishing to wage a good warfare ,is to use the prophetic message in your prayers claiming that whatever God said to you can not be resisted by the enemy.

On many occasions revelations of the prophetic message attracts demons against your life. These spirits come against the prophetic word to make it null and void.Remember that the birth of Moses came at a time when king Pharoah had decreed that every male child born to the Jews was to be slaughtered. Why was such a decree at the birth of Moses? I believe the magicians located the rise of a deliverer being born to plunder the kingdom of Egypt.I believe Pharoah was under an instruction to eliminate that deliverer. The bible said Moses mother saw that he was a goodly , handsome or special child.I believe the Spirit of God began working through the mother and actually protected the child. This was clearly seen through the events that occured at his birth. When the Lord Jesus was born a similar thing was realized by King Herod who got to know that a new king had been born.I may ask at his age and that of the fresh baby , how many years did he have to live before Jesus would grow to take over the kingship, if Jesus’ kingdom was an earthly one? The whole thing was a demonic orchestration to stop God’s agenda from coming to pass

Arch Bishop Duncan Williams shared a testimony about a minister in England who received a prophetic message about a special move of God in his ministry. He said he counselled this minister to go into some days of fasting and prayer to establish that word of prophecy. This man did not do it.He said if God has said it, then he would bring it to pass.Brethren, this brother died and never saw that prophecy come to pass.He should have stood on that word to wage war in prayer to prevent the demonic hosts that were sent to render the prophecy useless.Never assume that if God said it then it is His duty to bring it to pass. Everything that would happen on this earth in the name of God needs our vital cooperation through faith and prayer. Paul calls it waging a good warfare. In Heb 5:7, the Lord kept praying with loud crying and tears so that he would be delivered from death. The father said it but had to pray for it to be established.

THOUGHT: IN THIS LIFE YOU DO NOT GET WHAT YOU DESERVE BUT WHAT YOU DEMAND.

THE CHARGE

KEY SCRIPTURE 1Ti 1:18 KJV “This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;”

In verse 18 apostle Paul tells Timothy that he is giving him a charge.A charge is a command that gives you no other options but to strictly adhere to it.Some have taught that the period of grace have no strict rules that we have to stand by or live by.God would not be God if he does not have absolute standards that can not be bent or twisted in any way.God’s moral laws will forever be thou shall not.It can never become thou may not steal or thou may not commit adultery.Forever and ever the command not to be envious of your neighbours goods would remain so.It is a charge and one needs to honour it as such.

God’s ordinances and customary laws given to Israel were shadows of the real thing which is fulfilled by the coming of Jesus.(Col 2:17 KJV “Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ). and so under the new covenant, these laws do not hold any longer since under the new covenant .Customs like dietary laws or festivals that come under ordinance do not apply under the new covenant.

Now, why does the grace of God not soften the moral laws? A moral law is the only way or manner of life that can make an individual relate to God.The moral laws are the very character of God.Breaking any of them is an attack on the very character of God, and makes you an enemy of God.Adhering to them is that which makes one walk the path of holiness.Remember, without holiness no man or woman can have anything to do with God( Heb 12:14).What then is the role of grace in walking in this pathway of holiness? The grace of God is the supernatural power of God working in our hearts that enables us to freely do all the upright, righteous things that God has charged us to do. This is the reason Romans 6:14 reads ” sin shall not have dominion over you, because you are not under the law, but under grace. The grace of God is a divine empowerment that helps us do the requirements of God.

Grace does not mean God would overlook any disobedience of any of his moral laws although that act was punished in Jesus, yet you can only benefit from Jesus’ sacrifice by accepting your action and confessing it( 1 John 1:9)..As I said earlier God’s moral laws are His intrinsic character that breaking them makes you break fellowship with Him.To break them is to treat God’s grace with contempt. This is what the bible calls taking the grace of God in vain.Apostle Paul said he laboured more abundantly than any of the apostles yet he is what he is because of the grace of God.(1 Corinth 15:9&10.)To benefit from God’s grace, you must have a willing attitude to honour God’s word and so in yielding to its dictates the power of the Spirit which is the grace of God carries you to do beyond your natural capabilities. God’s charges or commands demand your willing acceptance of what he has said, and then you commit or yield your faculties to what is said.Grace functions by faith.Your willing acceptance and your commitment to do what the word says is your faith in God and that faith sets the power of God( grace) to work through you.

THOUGHT:KEEPING GOD’S CHARGES MAKES US RESONATE WITH HIS NATURE, SO WE SHARE ALL THINGS WITH HIM.

LET US PRAISE THE LORD

KEY SCRIPTURE:1 Timothy 1:17 KJV “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory forever and ever Amen.”

After apostle Paul had talked about how unqualified he was to be saved, yet the grace of God reached out to him to save his soul.He was also given eternal or an everlasting life.He added that the Lord showed such mercy to him as a demonstration to any such rebellious person to reach out to Christ to obtain the same mercy. Apostle Paul then goes into praise of the Lord.May we likewise be very thankful about the fact that we have been saved. Many believers are not appreciative of the great salvation obtained in Jesus. They are constantly worried over one thing or the other that might not be going well or is not available and constantly staying moody or questioning God. Please our salvation is always precious and more valuable than whatever we may not have.Secondly the next reason to remain joyful is that , with joy shall we draw out of the wells of salvation.( Isaiah 12:3), In your salvation is every thing you would need.Your joy is like the line with the bucket at its end which you may throw down into that deep well full of every blessing.Without joy you are seriously handicapped.

Praise creates that joy.Praise acknowledges God for who He is and gives it to Him in words.True praise takes your attention from yourself and your challenges and magnifies God.Praise creates the right image about God and speaks it out.Praise is a very mighty weapon that Satan can not overcome any time.God’s principle of salvation is that you believe in your heart what God has said in His word and then you confess with your mouth(Rom 10:9,10).In praise you first believe what God has revealed about himself and then you speak it out as words or in a song.By this act you have fulfilled the principle of salvation. The glorious things you sing or talk about are confessing of your thoughts and faith in God.This brings blessings of deliverance, healings or divine provisions of all kinds. You are robbing yourself of the very blessings you.have been crying for if you allow those needs r lack to rob you of giving God the praise.

Please praise is ineffective if it lacks focus , attention and that heart of appreciation.Psa 63:5 KJV” My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips:” Praising with joyful lips comes out of a heart filled with so much appreciation. He said when this is done then his soul would be satisfied with marrow and fatness. In this condition , the heart or soul satisfied with fatness is the seat of all solutions in the body.Pro 18:14 KJV “The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear?” It is your fattened spirit that sustains your infirmity, or heals your body.He says who can bear a wounded spirit.A problem mind or heart is a wounded spirit and cannot conquer or sustain your infirmity.Dear one never stop praising the Lord out of a joyful merry heart.Give no place to the supposed challenges you have.Jonah calls them lying vanities.Jon 2:8 KJV “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.” Give God that grateful heart of thanksgiving.Let the weak say , I am strong and let the poor say, I am rich.

THOUGHT: PRAISES MAKES YOU A WINNER ALWAYS.

JESUS CAME TO SAVE SINNERS

KEY SCRIPTURE:1Ti 1:15 KJV “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”

Apostle Paul admits in this verse that it is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation” By this statement he is saying that it is truth or an unquestionable fact that Jesus came to save men from their sins.I once shared the gospel with a gentleman who boldly asked me to show him one scripture that taught that Jesus came to save men from their sins.I was surprised to hear of such a thought.I realised that certain people have succeeded in deceiving their audience that Jesus did not come to die for sinners.Well, the bible is filled with countless verses that state clearly that our Lord Jesus came into this life primarily to save men from their sins.Any group that teaches that Jesus did not come to save humanity from their sins is fundamentally lost in error. This is one of the reasons Islam can not be said to be one with Christianity( Islam claims our Lord Jesus did not die for our sins ;Surah 4:157)

Galatians 1:4 says” Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father: The following scrpture also teaches that 1Corinth 15:3 KJV “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;” Whenever the word according to the scriptures is used in the new testament, then it refers to the writings of the old testament.Isaiah who is described as a Messianic prophet, prophesied a lot about the atoning work of our Lord Jesus. The whole of isaiah 53 is solely given to the passion of Jesus Isa 53:6 KJV “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all”.The main theme of the bible as one unit is GOD’S REDEMPTIVE PLAN FOR MANKIND. God’s redemptive program is demonstrated through the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear reader the major difference between Christianity and every other faith is the fact that in Christianity our Lord Jesus died for the sins of all men.we are saved on the grounds that we believe Jesus died for our sins.If you do not believe this one truth., then you are sadly lost in your sins no matter how righteous you think you are. The bible says without Jesus your righteousness is as filthy rags isaiah 64:6.The problem about lost men is not about what he does or does not do.His real problem is his STATE.He is dead in his sins.He needs life to be born into God’s family.Jesus is the only way .Do not be deceived.Surrender your life to him today. All faiths talk about doctrines and practices, only Christianity talks about receiving a new life. There is no life in any teaching than in Jesus who gave His life for the sins of the whole world.

NO SIN IS TOO BIG FOR GOD’S GRACE

KEY SCRIPTURE: 1Ti 1:14 KJV “And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.”

Apostle Paul talked about his way of life before he encountered the grace of God in 1 Timothy 1:13 ” Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” Paul persecuted the church and had gotten a number of them killed.Remember that Acts 8 :1 reported that Paul consented to the killing of Stephen.Inspite of the severity of his sins the grace of God was available for Him. Men sin because they are sinners. They are ruled by death.Rom 5:12 KJV” Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” The only solution to death is life. This is what the Lord Jesus came to offer mankind.Salvation can never be obtained by observing any kind of religious activities, except receiving life given by our Lord Jesus Christ.

No sin is too great for the blood of Jesus to wipe away. There are certain individuals who think their sins are so deep that they can not be saved. The scripture says though your sins be as red as crimson they shall be as white as wool. Please understand that the problem of sin is the rule of death over men.Jesus came to defeat death by bringing life and immortality to all who believe.2 Timothy 1:10 KJV “But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel”: The Lord has absolutely dealt with death and has given us eternal life.

Rom 6:23 says the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through our Lord Jesus.Your sins could be as gruesome as can be imagined yet God freely gives eternal life.Dear one we a speaking about the Holy precious blood of our Lord Jesus whom the scriptures reveal that He is God.The bible says in Hebrews 9:22 ” And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.” All that God expects of you is to acknowledge that you are a sinner and that Jesus our Lord died for your sins.Decide not to go back into that life of sin again.Believe in your heart that Jesus our Lord died and rose from the grave on the third day.Lastly confess boldly that Jesus is the Loud of your life.If you sincere made the confession that He is your Lord. Then you are born from above and that you have become a child of God.

Understanding the dealings of God is so amazing that makes walking with God a great delight .Our Lord Jesus remarked that “Mat 11:29 KJV Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. How was the burden of the Lord light. He did not bear the burden himself but the Holy Spirit who was in Him.Please get the way our heavenly father deals with us.Before He commands us to do a thing He first makes the complete provision.Juat consider the following statement Mat 5:16 KJV” Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Before He demands of us to shine as lights He had already made us lights. We are to shine because we are already lights of the would. It is in ournature to shine. As electric bulbs all it needs is to be connected to the national grid or a generator source. The moment the switch is turned on, the light shall shine. We are also connected to our father from whom we shine

In 2 Corinth 3 :5 &6 it says ” Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;”God gave us our various tasks and it is he who has made us qualified to play our individual roles. Dear brother or sister, never complain about the magnitude of any task God has given to you.Do not complain about how much the people given to you to work with are stressing you up.Listen to the counsel of the Holy Spirit.Phi 2:14 KJV Do all things without murmurings and disputings::For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Our strength or ability to do whatever he asks us to do is He the Lord Himself. Our confidence or faith is the only means to please the Lord receive anything from Him.

In the light of all that has been said above approach your tasks with a new attitude This time acknowledge your complete competence to fulfil that duty If you have to preach to some people stop worrying about how everything would go.Do your part through study, prayer and preparation of the message. The next is to trust that the presence of God in you would help you communicate effectively to them.If you have been appointed to do something in your secular business which appears far beyond your capabilities. Please acknowledge one more time that , God in you makes you very capable.please note that I am not saying you are God as the new age try to teach. They try to destroy the truth of a personal God who comes to take His abode in us.He is the one who enables us to meet every task.Be very conscious of the great mighty creator of all things living in our bodies. We are a temple for Him.1Co 3:16 KJV “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?” Our sufficiency is God Himself.Give your full strength, energy and a winning attitude towards whatever assignment you have to do.

THOUGHT: DECIDE TO BE THE BEST IN EVERYTHING YOU DO
