KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 21:14 (KJV). “And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.”

  The Lord Jesus drove out the money changers, cleared the temple off the goat, sheep, and everything, that was not right to be in God’s house and right afterwards the sick came to Him for healing. Blind eyes were opened, lame legs were healed and many more. These never happened previously because God’s power was very absent. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”— 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV). God is ever ready to show up in men’s affairs if we would give Him His right place.

The verse above explains everything. God is everywhere but he will manifest His presence when men acknowledge Him by turning from their wicked and wrong ways. Righteousness exalts a nation, or a people, but sin is a reproach. Prov 14:34. Note that sin is a sinker. The ears of the Lord are turned to the upright. The scriptures have always established the fact that God favours and helps those who honour Him. “……. the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.”— 1 Samuel 2:30 (KJV).

Our bodies are the temple of God, and God’s spirit dwells in our hearts. A heart filled with envy, bitterness, and lust cannot have the Spirit of God manifesting the power of God. These things are fundamental truths known by all, yet they are the very issues that deprive most Christians, the mighty presence of God in their lives. Decide this day to clean your life of every filth. Now pursue a course of holiness and uprightness. Let it become your real lifestyle. You would soon notice, there is a new sense of peace in your heart You would have more confidence in dealing with devils. Many lives would be blessed by your witness and encounter with them.
