KEY SCRIPTURE: John 1:16 NHEB “For of his fullness we all received, and grace upon grace.”
God is full of all goodness. Our key scripture. reveals to us the supplier and the measure of God’s grace he provides. Jesus is actually the grace of God personified. Please note that, grace is not earned but is received by faith (Roman 4:2,3) How much grace have been given to us? The scripture said out of his fullness, have all we received, grace upon grace. What does this mean? Col 2:9,10 teaches us that In Jesus dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily, whiles we are complete in Him who is the Head of all principalities and power. The word complete is the same word replete, or to be made full. We are made full of what? We are made full of God (Eph 3:16). Please pause and reflect over it.
Colossians 2 :10 informs us that we are filled with the fullness of God. Each one of us has also received a full measure of His grace. Let’s consider the following. In John 10:10, it says He gives us life in abundance Eph 3:20 teaches us that God is able to do far more exceedingly, abundantly and above all that we can ask or think. God always gives us His best in a full measure.
Just consider the following verse. James 1:17 KJV Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” The word says there is no variableness with God, that is God does not change and there is no uncertainties with Him like shifting shadows.
He always gives His best to every one who would believe Him.
Dear one as many who can receive or believe God, God has His best for them. Grace is a supernatural power made available to us to excel.
This power comes from His very ability and of His fullness. Now, although it is of His fullness, what you carry away depends on you How much would you carry? Dear one, you can change your state by taking of His very fullness.
How do we partake of this fullness? In whatever you are involved in do it with a consciousness of a total supply of every divine provision to make you come out as the best. See yourself as greatly privileged, no matter the difficulties that prevail. Eph 3:16 KJV “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;” The Spirit is our ever-abiding strengthener.
