KEY SCRIPTURE: John 7:8 KJV “Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come.”

Serving God is all about following divine counsel. A servant of God is a love slave of God. His life becomes meaningful and successful if he or she diligently adheres to divine instructions. In 1 Kings 13 the bible speaks about a young prophet who the Lord asked to give a message to the king in Bethel. God gave him specific instructions not to sleep nor eat anything in Bethel. He was deceived by an old prophet to act against God’s word. Unfortunately, he was attacked and killed by a lion on his way back. This was the result of breaking divine instructions.

The Lord said to His brothers that, it was not His time to go to Judaea for the feast. He was simply honoring God’s instructions.

 It is a great privilege to know what the Lord wants you to do and it is your blessing to do it.

Wisdom is doing what God wants you to do. I believe one main reason the Lord Jesus spent so much time praying was to receive the Spirit’s instructions on, where to go, what to do and how to do it. He gladly obeyed the Father always. John 8:29 KJV” And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.”

King Solomon wrote in, Prov 4:13   that” Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life. ” This scripture implies failure to adhere to godly counsel or instructions will spell your doom. Humanity is at presently at the brink of serious crises, because men consistently flout divine counsel. Certain countries, that were founded on the basis of the Holy Scriptures, are today trying to extinct the bible from their lands.

 If the foundation be destroyed how can the building stand? The scriptures said” righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach unto any people. Sexual perversion is an abomination unto the Lord, yet the law courts of the so-called elite nations uphold and defend it, and even criminalise all those who speak against it. Our world is lost indeed.

THOUGHT:  LIVING WITHOUT GODLY INSTRUCTIONS, IS LIKE A BLIND MAN FINDING HIS WAY OUT OF A FOREST WITH WILD BEASTS.
