KEY SCRIPTURE: Rom 4:25 KJV “Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification”.
The Lord Jesus is a symbol of absolute good, blessings, and perfection for mankind. Thinking about Him should send us into moments of thanksgiving and an unending appreciation and praise. Our key scripture shows Jesus was delivered for our offenses. He was arrested, beaten, spat upon, stripped naked and finally killed, all because of our sins. This was not the end, He died, buried and was raised back to life so we would be justified.
What does it mean to be justified. Justification means to be made righteous. Someone described it this way. Just- as-if- you-never – sinned – before. Our justification is tied to His resurrection. The Lord resurrected with a new sinless body. Remember, He died being made sin. 2Cor 5:21 KJV For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. The whole thing was an act of substitution or identification. Jesus identified with us in our sins and so was judged for us and killed. In His resurrection He still identified with us and raised with a new sinless, all-conquering nature. This new nature became ours, hallelujah. Romans 6:5 KJV For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
His resurrection was our resurrection. It only becomes effectual when a man believes in Him. Romans 5:1 KJV” Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” We are justified when we believe on Jesus. We then assume that new resurrected nature and life, where we have no past of sin. Remember, the new man we acquired is the same as what Jesus resurrected with. This is why we become the righteousness of God in Christ 2 Corinth 5:21. The Lord Jesus came with a mind to make us righteous. This is the beautiful way the bible put it in .2Corinth 5:17 KJV” Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
He said, all these new things are of God. 2Corinth 5:18 We are the righteousness of God. TO BE CONTINUED.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving your life for me. My faith in you has brought me justification. I have a perfect righteous nature, with no sin from my past. Whatever I once did is no more. I also have the ability to live a holy upright life. I am free and master over devils and diseases and lack of all forms, in Jesus’ name. Thank you, Lord Jesus. AMEN
THOUGHT: IN MY JUSTIFICATION, I AM FREE FROM THE POWER OF SIN.
Rom 6:14 KJV “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
Rom 3:22 KJV Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:
