SATAN’S KINGDOM 2

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matt 12:26 KJV ‘And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?”

The kingdom of Satan is all about the rule of Satan. Every kingdom must have authority and power in order to enforce its decrees and policies. In Mathew 28:18, the Lord Jesus after resurrecting from the dead said, all power is given unto me, both in heaven and on earth. The word in Greek translated as power is ‘Exousia’ which means authority. Authority means the right to exercise power. Jesus said all that right has been given to him. This means Satan does not have any legal grounds to exercise power. Does Satan have any power? Yes, he has. Luke 10:19 KJV” Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” In this verse the Lord states Satan has some power. If Satan’s kingdom has been stripped of all authority, how does he exercise power in a world when God reigns?

Satan exercises power because men allow him. He does so by deceit. Rev 12:9 KJV” And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: “His weapon is deceit.” God cannot stop any activity of Satan or his demons when men by an act of their will permit Satan. When men are disobedient to God and obey the dictates of devils, they have willingly given access to the devil. Fear of the devil and his ability is also a sure ground to accept the kingdom of Satan, to exercise rule and power over that individual. Our world is presently filled with so much fear for the activities of Satan.

In the light of all that has been stated above, how can one break free from Satan’s power. The Lord Jesus revealed the following answer. John 8:32 KJV” And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free”. Living by the truth is the way to freedom. The very first step to walk the truth is to stop living in sin. The next is to stop being afraid of the devil and his activities. Fear is believing the words of the devil, whiles sin is doing what the devil says. If one would stay free of these two things and would rise to challenge whatever Satan does without fear, he would free and men would live free of Satan way.

CONFESSION

Thank God living by the truth is the way to be free of Satan’s works. I forsake sin and put every fear for every work of Satan far from me.

Mark 5:36 KJV “As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.”

SATAN’S KINGDOM

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 12:26. “And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?”

The discourse of our Lord Jesus and the Pharisees teaches us so much about lots of issues including the devil and his kingdom. The devil has a well-structured kingdom. In Ephesians 1:21 the scriptures reveal the chain of authority of the kingdom of the devil. They are established in this order,

1. Principality, that is the chief or the first in rank

2. Powers. These are those titled as authorities

3. Might. These are those with power to perform certain deeds(dunamis)

4. Dominion. These are classified as Lord’s.

The Bible reveals this chain of authority in Eph 6:12 as follows,

  1. Principalities
  2. Powers
  3. Rulers of darkness of this world.
  4. Spiritual wickedness in high places. This is the same as that in Eph 1:21

Dear child of God, please accept that you are seated or placed in rank far above all the authority of Satan and his demons(devils). Just compare Ephesians 1:21 and 2:6. In Eph 1:21, The Lord is seated far above all these chains of devils including Satan. In Eph 2:6, we are seated together with our Lord Jesus in the heavenly places which is far above the devil.

Please accept that in the name of the Lord Jesus you can cast out devils. Mark 1:17 “And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;” Please know also that, all devils including Satan can possess the bodies of men if allowed. Joh 13:27 KJV “And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.” At this instant Satan entered into Judas and led him to betray the Lord of glory. Never be afraid of any devil or demon. Remain in the truth and never allow your flesh or natural reason to control you. That is the power of the devil.

When a man contacts them for help, the demon or devil in charge of the person’s predicament is contacted by the devil of the mallam, or fetish priest and they negotiate. It may stop its activity for a time but give another condition in place of the first. Note also that the main commodity these devils want to buy is your soul. Anybody who contacts them, (devils) gives his soul to the devil before they give the one what he is requesting for. .(Matt 16:26) Remember that their means of activity or weapon to function is Lies or deception That is the grand scheme of the devils. (John 8:44, Rev 12:9)

CONFESSION

SATAN has a very organized hierarchy of devils set in order to deceive control and manipulate men’s life. I am not ignorant of his devices. I do not yield to any of his lies and I’m never afraid of him and his devils.

DIVIDED KINGDOMS

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 12:25.” And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand:”

After the Pharisees had accused the Lord of casting out devils by the spirit of Beelzebub, the Lord corrected them that, Satan cannot fight against his kingdom. He added that any kingdom that is divided against itself shall not stand.

We see in our day-to-day experiences that marital homes, friendships, various business partnerships, and even nations break up, because of divisions that ensue between them. Most of these divisions are initiated by the evil one who acts behind the scenes.

Marriage which forms the smallest unit of our societies easily break up. These divisions ultimately affect the bigger society, that is the nation.

The scriptures suggest how to avoid such break ups. “Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.” — Philippians 2:3 (KJV)

The above verse, tells us certain both actions that must not be done as well as those that ought to be observed, so we could maintain our homes, friendships, and associations and ultimately the unity of our nation. There are those things that one must avoid outright.

1. Nothing must be done through strive. To strive means to compete with your partner or associate. It also means to exert effort such that one party would be disadvantaged. These things create bad blood, and ultimately a break up.

2. The next thing is not seeking vain glory. What is vain glory? It is called vain because the party seeking it does so to the detriment of the larger group. A couple with a joint account finds one party using the money to develop a private project, He or she is definitely seeking a vain glory. Whenever individual parties of a group do things to benefit their sole interest, it is vain glory, that hurts the other party, and may lead to a division. A church may even break up, when a very influential partner, begins to seek financial advantage over the whole group. These things are described as vain glory. Such actions are mostly motivated by selfishness.

In that very verse (Philip 2:3) the Holy Spirit suggests certain actions that partners must cultivate, which would foster a greater level of unity among them.

1.They must have a low mindedness. To be lowly minded is to be humble. It is to be less of yourself. A man who is lowly minded is able to endure bad and difficult situations. He does not keep hurts and easily forgives. The lowly minded is also meek. As a meek man, he is very teachable or submits to the instructions of scripture, which would definitely engender a greater unity between the parties.

2.The next virtue to cultivate by various parties in a group or association, according to Philippians 2:3 is to esteem other better than themselves. This may be difficult to some individuals. As a child of God, you accept God’s word as an authority over your life. We do not argue with the word, but accepts it. Never consider yourself superior to your partner. See him or her as very important to you.  Respect every member of that group. Never consider your financial status, educational or other privileges you may have as superior to the other party or parties. The scripture says, consider the other party better than yourself. This is a binding policy, that holds the group together.

IF you are to adhere to these principles, we would have a lesser breakup of our homes, associations, groups or even our nation as a whole.

CONFESSION

I am subjected to God’s word. I do not live for my sole advantage, but for the corporate advantage of the group or partners. I am lowly minded, and therefore, I’m able to endure unexpected behaviors, and can easily forgive. I esteem my partner as better than myself.

Colossians 3:13. “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.”

ENVY IS POISON TO THE SOUL.

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 12:24 KJV” But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils”.

The Lord Jesus set a demon possessed man, who had the Spirit of deaf and dumb, free. The Pharisees responded by saying that, Jesus cast out devils by the spirit of Beelzebub. Beelzebub is the Chief of demons or another name of Satan. What made the Pharisees say these things about Jesus? The proceeding verse can give us a clue.

John 12:19 KJV “The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive ye how ye prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him”. The Pharisees met together and said, they have not been successful in preventing Jesus from making the level of impact He was making. These men were simply envious of Jesus. Envy is an evil emotion that one suffers when another person or people are privileged, advantaged or successful, wishing for the failure, destruction of that person or group of people. Envy can drive a person to go to any learnt to destroy the one he is envious about. Every envious person is a tool in the hands of the devil, but know that, Satan never uses an object and leaves it as he met it. He would always destroy whatever he uses.

What does envy do to a person or a people?

1.Envy will keep you from acknowledging the truth about the one you are envious about.

2.Envy makes you afraid of the one you envy.

3. Envy makes you inferior to him that you envy. Saul was the king, yet envy robbed him of that confidence as the king.

4.Envy will prevent you from enjoying any blessings or the potentials of the one you envy. David was sent to assist Saul overcome his emotional as well as military challenges, yet envy deprived him of that assistance. He was killed in a battle that David could have easily fought and won for Israel.

5.Anyone who envies his neighbour becomes the ultimate loser. Eg Joseph’s brothers, the Pharisees against Jesus, King Saul against David.

6. God will oppose anyone who envies his fellow brother or sister.

7.You fight with God who blessed that individual or group of persons with the gift or ability.

ENVY can easily creep into any body’s heart, if you allow it. You can be envious of any body. A husband can be envious of the wife and the wife, envious of the husband. A pastor can envy another gifted or successful pastor. A senior pastor can be envious of a gifted member in his congregation. It is a trap of Satan against you.

HOW to be free of envy.

1.Be content with who you are, and what you have. Heb 13:5

2.Understand you are not in competition with anyone. Your competitor is the vision or task God gave you.

3.See the gifts and potentials in others as God’s gifts and thank God for blessing them with those gifts.

4 Pray for anyone, you are tempted to envy and that spirit of envy would lose its grip over you.

5 Know also that you are a partaker of whatever you celebrate. Celebrate successful people

CONFESSION

I am free of the Spirit of envy. I see every gifted person as God’s ability in that individual and I thank God for such an ability. I celebrate the success in others although I strive to fulfill whatever task God has given to me.

THE ACCEPTABLE SERVANT OF GOD

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 12 (KJV). Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

 Please Read Matthew 12: 18-22

In this passage we are considering God’s acceptable servant. The Lord said He is well pleased in His servant. The very first quality of God’s servant is that, he acknowledges he is not on his own. Every servant lives to please his master. The Lord said it is written of me in the volume of the books, I come to do thy will o God. (Heb 10:7). Every servant works very hard to please his master.  He is a labourer. The Lord Jesus, in His days of ministry worked so hard that, He achieved maximum results in His three years of service. His principle was that, I must work the works of Him, that sent me, whiles it is day, the night comes when no man can work.

Every acceptable servant of God is a man or woman of the Spirit. He is a man full of the Spirit. To be full of the Spirit is to be fully controlled by the of word. The greatest grounds for failure is living in the flesh “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” Romans 8:8 (KJV). To be spiritual makes one a prime candidate for God to work effectively with.

The Lord said the servant of God shall show judgment to the gentles. This does not only mean judging the Gentiles, but shall be circumspect, discerning and prudent. The servant of the Lord by virtue of His deeds shall be a light to many. To show judgment is to be discreet in your dealings. It also means to be trustworthy.

The servant of God shall not strive. Striving is a work of the flesh. Striving symbolizes all fleshly agitations that makes a man live to please the flesh. Those who live by the flesh have no part in the kingdom of God.

“Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”  Galatians 5:21 (KJV)

The servant of God shall not break a bruised reed. He shall have mercy on the weak. He shall be sensitive to the needs of those who need help and support. The scripture said a smoking flax he will not quench. A smoking flax stands for a struggling or a suffering person. The servant of God will rather fan such a flax into a better flame. The Lord Jesus gave up his life to save many. God’s servant also sacrifices his life to strengthen the weak. “So, then death worketh in us, but life in you.”  2 Corinthians 4:12 (KJV) Dear child of God, the servant of God is God’s slave to bring glory to God.

CONFESSION

I am a servant of God. I do not live to please myself. I live to honour Christ by investing my life in others to bring them into a place of stability of faith and service of the Lord.

Philippians 2:7-9 (KJV).  But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:  And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.  Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

JESUS SHOWS AGAIN THAT HEALING IS THE WILL OF GOD

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 12:12 (KJV).” How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.”

The Lord Jesus demonstrated again that God wants the sick healed. At this very instant the Pharisees came to Him and asked is it right to heal on a Sabbath day? The Lord begun to express the importance of man over all other creatures. The Lord put it this way, if your sheep fell into a pit on the Sabbat day, would you allow it to die in the pit? Are you not going to go into it and save that sheep? He then added is not a man more important than every beast? The Lord Jesus by these encounters expresses God’s strong dislike for sickness. The Lord then said, is it not right to do good on the sabbath days? Healing was a good thing according to the Lord. These revelations must change our attitude towards sickness. We should not see it as God’s will for placing it on men. “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.”  — Acts 10:38 (KJV).

The preceding verse says it all. God is the healer and actively participates in seeing men well. Satan and his angels also actively torment people with all kinds of ailments and weaknesses. The scriptures have continually demonstrated through Jesus encounters with the sick and the lack of understanding of God’s will for humanity by the Pharisees, that God always wants the sick to be healed. The scriptures teach that He that knows a good thing, seeing his brother is in need of it, and fails to give it, to him it is sin. God knowing that it is good to give healing, will not hold it back from him that needs it. Please note that as sin destroys the soul of a man, sickness also destroys the body of man. The will of God is that God will be glorified both in our spirit or souls, and our bodies as well. “For ye are bought with a price: therefore, glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” — 1 Corinthians 6:20 (KJV). A man who is afflicted with a devastating disease does not glorify God in his body.

What must we do in the light of all that has been said earlier? The scriptures teach we must submit to the revealed will of God, and resist the devil and he will flee from us. James 4:7. Be fully settled in your mind that it is God’s perfect will for you to be healthy and well. Then begin to refuse the devil for inflicting your body with any unwanted condition. Use your mouth and say to the devil, I cast you out of my body. I refuse to permit you in my body. It is my duty to keep my body clean and healthy, for God has completed His part, and I do my part by refusing any evil in my life. Speak also to your body, by telling it to remain clean of every disease. Insist daily that your body is whole and the devil is a liar. To the Lord, keep thanking Him for healing your body. Your words for healing goes against the devil, and to your body as well as thanking the Lord for his faithfulness in keeping you well. Never complain to God why He is not healing you. That would rob you of your faith to be healed. Keep doing this daily till you see a totally clean healthy body.

CONFESSION

Thank you, heavenly Father, for your provision of good health through the passion of my Lord Jesus Christ. I speak to every demon of infirmity; you have no right to torment my body in any way. I rebuke and command you out of my body. I insist that you are out of my body. In Jesus name my body is free of every disease. Thank you, Lord, for healing me. Amen.

ANSWERING THOSE WHO OPPOSE YOU

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 12:10 (KJV).  “And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.”

Everyone has those who love and are ready to stand by him through thick and thin. There are some who would scheme to put you down, especially if you are making any headway in life. Some may be your fellow workers. Some spouses unfortunately become opposes to their mates. These Pharisees in the time of Christ, tried to get him to speak against the word of God, but as hard as they tried, they were never successful. How was the Lord able to outwit them throughout?

1.He never allowed their wrong intentions to drive him mad. There are a lot of people who just get very upset with their opposers, and so are not able to think through their answers very well. They fall into the trap that the opposers have planned. Some homes have never known peace because each party has a boiling heart ready to unleash his piece of mind.

2. He used the principle in James 1:19, “Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:”— James 1:19 (KJV) We see that the Lord was swift to hear. That is to listen attentively to the one speaking. He was slow to respond. He thought through what they said and considered the best response to give them. In our scriptural subject of discussion, they asked Him, should one heal on the sabbath day? He likewise responded with another question. In such tricky moments question in response to a question always keeps you from committing yourself. The Lord was never offended by their tricks but held His calm. The Lord Jesus was always successful in communicating with those who opposed him because he had a loving heart to give His best to save the situation.

In the gospel of John chapter 8, a woman who was supposed to have been caught in the act of adultery was brought to Jesus. They told Him that, Moses said such a person should be stoned to death, what does He say? The Lord did not answer immediately, but wrote on the floor. He then asked the accusing multitude, if any of them had not committed sin, let him first cast the first stone? He bowed His head again. After some moments He asked the woman where are your accusers? They were all gone. His love for the victimized gave Him right answers to give His opponents. Wisdom is always a function of true love. Anyone with true love for people and especially his or her spouse, would always find the right answers for very difficult situations.  Wickedness and hatred are a nursery ground for foolish answers.

PRAYERS

Father, I pray you fill me with a heart of love for all persons at all times. That I may receive the right answers for them always.

Proverbs 15:1 (KJV). “A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.”

THE SABBATH IN PROPER PERSPECTIVE

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 12:1. “At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat.”

We continue our journey with Jesus through the gospels. At this point Jesus’ disciples plucked ears of corn from a farm during the sabbath day. The Pharisees quickly complained to Jesus about their action. The Lord explained to them why no one should hold his disciples for doing wrong. He gave a number of cases in the old testament about actions of certain people like David and others in the temple, and on sabbath days that should have been described as wrong, yet was not. Was the Lord giving grounds for God’s laws to be broken? No, the people rather did not understand God’s legal system, and therefore what was right or wrong.

The laws of God come under three main categories. The severity of the law depends on the category it falls under. We have laws of ordinance, customary laws and moral laws. The laws of ordinance had to do with issues of festivals, feasts, sabbath days and ceremonies. The customary laws were matters of right foods, dresses, diseases that defiles and things of that nature. Moral laws concerned directly, man and God’s relationship which had to do with issues of defilement, and the acknowledgement of God’s authority over an individual. Example of the moral laws were not to fornicate, not to kill, steal and many more. The moral laws are non-negotiable laws. Not to commit adultery, forever remains so, and cannot be compromised.

The ordinances and customary laws are upheld, so long as the basics rights of the man is not trampled upon. If the observance of a feast means others going hungry, then that feast could be stopped, so the hungry man is fed. The sabbath cannot prevent the healing of a sick man, or carrying a dying person from one point to another for help. These are the basic rights of human existence. (modern day human rights does not understand the spiritual dimension of things, and so it is running on a different tangent)

During a number of encounters with the Pharisees, the Lord rebuked them for their hypocrisies. “The Lord then answered him, and said, thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?” — Luke 13:15. In the light of the above if one is hungry on the sabbath, does he act wrongly by plucking corn to eat? (Note: the issue was not about the right to pluck corn, it was about working on a sabbath day)

God’s moral laws secures the basic rights of a man. When a man commits fornication of any kind, he or she destroys his very being. To worship idols imports devils to fill up your life and ultimately destroys you. “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.” — 1 Corinthians 6:18 (KJV)

Please note this: God’s laws are there to preserve men and not to destroy man. This is the reason this LGBT thing will forever remain an abomination, because it attacks the very sanctity of the human person, which God ‘s laws seek to uphold.

CONFESSION

God is good and does all things for our good. His laws preserve our stability and peace. I live to honor him in every way. I observe His laws and that is my peace.

JESUS RESURRECTION AND IT’S RELATED LESSONS

KEY SCRIPTURE:1 Corinthians 15 :20. “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.”

The resurrection of our Lord Jesus is a very significant event in history. Luke wrote that, Jesus showed Himself alive to his disciples by many infallible proofs (Acts 1:2). There are so many evidences of His resurrection, yet, I will talk about only one of the evidences for this moment. This is the testimony of his disciples. These were men who had gone into hiding, (although, men like John reported he witnessed the crucifixion) when he was captured and crucified, yet ‘out of the blue’ they were all over the place testifying that Jesus had resurrected, and that they had seen Him. “This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.” (Acts 2:32). These disciples proved that they had encountered the resurrected Lord by giving over their lives to be killed for what they had seen and known was the truth. History teaches us that all the apostles besides Judas who betrayed the master, died a martyred death except Apostle John. Please these men did not talk about having a dream of his resurrection, but physically met with Him. They ate with him, touched him and saw him go up into heaven (. John 20:27, 1 John 1:1, John 21:12-14)

The truth of the resurrection brings home to every man certain reality that we must all face.

1 His resurrection teaches He is the only way to the father as well as the only name given among men, whereby we may be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12)

2. There is life after death and the death of a Christian should not cause so much sorrow, because he or she has only been translated to a glorious place, where we will definitely meet again. (1 Thess 4:13 & 14)

3.There is going to be a judgment with rewards for those who lived in honor of the Lord, but to those who lived to satisfy their flesh in disobedience, they shall be punished and cast into eternal fire. (John 5:29)

4 His resurrection informs all Christians to take up the great commission very seriously. In every minute or hour countless multitudes pass on into eternity. Many definitely die in their sins. According to the Bible they will end up in hell. This should place a high sense of urgency to win them at all cost. We must say with Apostle Paul, necessity is laid on me, woe is me if I preach not the gospel. (1 Corinth 9:16)

5. In Ephesians 1:19, 20 the Holy Spirit reveals that God has given to every believer in Jesus, a super power which is the same as what he worked in Jesus to raise him from the dead. This gives us power to stop every work of the enemy and set others free.

6 The resurrection brings to us hope to joyfully endure every persecution for our Lord, because we know that we would be rewarded for our faithfulness. (1 Corinth 15:58)

CONFESSION

My Lord Jesus is not in the grave, He is alive. He lives in me. I am also victorious in this life, and over any condition. I have a living hope, which is an anchor for my soul. I boldly testify to the lost to win them from eternal destruction.

FURTHER STUDIES

Acts 1 :3- To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:  2 “Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.”

REST FOR YOUR SOULS

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 11:29 KJV “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”

The Lord Jesus teaches us how to have rest for our souls. The Lord asks us to take his yoke or join Him, and learn from Him. He says He is meek and lowly in heart.

What are the characteristics of a meek person?

1.The meek person is very teachable PS 25:9

2.They meek is patient and so possesses the earth. Ps 37:11

3.God beautifies the meek with Salvation. Psalm 149:4

4. The meek increases his joy in the Lord. Isaiah 29:19

5.The meek is hid from God’s anger on the day of Judgment. Zeph 2:3

6 The meek controls his strength.

The meek man endures challenges and stays through difficult times, till he overcomes. This is not so with the proud man. He attacks himself and anyone he feels is making things difficult for him. The proud man is easily offended when he is mistreated and cannot easily forgive his offender. The proud is highly unteachable and therefore suffers in his folly. God is very much against the proud and therefore, he suffers God’s Judgment (James 4:6) Whiles the meek and lowly man enjoys doing his tasks with joy and satisfaction, the proud complains, questions and is generally very much  unrest..

In science substances stay afloat because they have a hollow internal part, whiles substances that have no hollow internal portions cannot float, but sink. A meek man is selfless and so is not full of himself. This makes him hollow within. He is carried rather by what should have sunk him, and make things less miserable for him. The proud man is full of himself, and so he is like the substance with no hollow part and does sinks into life matters, making life miserable for him

When we compare further, other natural substances like a ship, it can carry any burden or load imaginable, so long as it has the hollow part. If anything should fill up that hollow portion, it can’t carry the smallest paper, it will sink.

The Lord said my yoke is easy and my burden is light, because I ‘m meek and lowly, in  heart making him like the hollow ship, which is able to bear very heavy weights.. He had the sins of the whole world to carry, yet claimed it was easy. You can indeed have rest for your soul, if you choose to be meek and lowly like the Lord Jesus.  Throw away any form of pride, it makes you feel important within, but the truth is, it only messes you up

CONFESSION
