KEY SCRIPTURE: James 4:6 “But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble”.
God gives more grace to the humble. Any man who is ruled by the word is humble. Our key scripture says God gives more grace to the man who is ruled by the word.
Grace is the supply of divine ability that works in our hearts to succeed or do that which our natural abilities cannot do. It is a favour done us, because we do not deserve it.
The man Joseph decided to be ruled by the word, no matter the challenge or opposition that rose against him. When Potiphar’s wife tempted him, this was what he said. “But he refused and said unto his master’s wife, behold, my master is not concerned about what is with me in the house, and he has committed all that he has to my hand, there is none greater in this house than I, neither has he kept anything back from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?” (Genesis 39:8, 9).
This event took place outside the awareness of every other person in the house, yet Joseph knew God was present and that he had to do what the word of God demanded. He refused, although the woman succeeded in causing him to be thrown into prison…
God gave him more grace, and even though he was from a foreign land, he became the vice president of a foreign land, a world super power at that time.
To be ruled by the word would bring you enough grace to positions in life that, no human connections can do.
.Acts 10:34-35 “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him”.
Fear the Lord deeply in your heart and honour Him with all you do and you would never lack divine provision to be distinguished in life*.
God is the giver of grace and the promoter of all persons depending on what they do with His word. I would never lack the supply of divine ability because I have set my face to be constantly ruled by His word.
Psalms 1:1-3 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper”.
Isaiah 1:19 “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land”:
