KEY SCRIPTURE: Exodus 6:3 ” And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.”

When Moses first went to Pharaoh telling him to let the children of God leave as the Lord says, Pharaoh was furious and increased the burden and punishment of the children of Israel.

The Lord spoke to Moses as a result of this to confirm what he had already said to him. God would always manifest His might anytime His people stand for him in adverse moments. God’s strength on behalf of his children is always made perfect in their weaknesses. 2nd Corinthians 12:9a And He said unto me. “My grace is sufficient for thee for my strength is made perfect in weakness….”. In times of grave challenges and opposition never give up. The Lord had said I will never leave you nor forsake you. He can’t turn against His word. Romans 10:11 for the scripture saith whosoever believes in Him shall not be ashamed”. In such, times just keep or maintain your confidence in Him.

The Lord made the following statement as captured in our key scripture, “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac and unto Jacob by the name God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them. The Lord now reveals his hidden name unto Moses. He said He is called Jehovah. The name Jehovah means “THE EXISTING ONE”.

The Lord revealed all these incites to Moses to show him that he exists by Himself and there is nothing He cannot do. As He has assured him of delivering the children of Israel, He would do so.

The Lord asked Moses to go back to Pharaoh and tell him to let the children of Israel go. Moses answered Him by saying the Israelites have not accepted him how much more would Pharaoh do so ?. Please note that in various life encounters. It is not what people say that matters. No matter their numbers it is always what the Lord says that you have to stand by and obey. You and God are always the majority. This was proven many times in the story of Moses.

Father I have taken my stand with you. Nothing shall move me and l can never fail, for it is your glory that is at stake.

Romans 10:11-13 ” For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”.
