KEY SCRIPTURE: Luke 11:14 KJV” And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spake; and the people wondered”.

The Lord Jesus spent a great chunk of His ministry casting out devils. This underscores the point that demons constitute a great part of the problems of men. In the ministry of the master He healed the sick by casting out devils from their bodies. In our key scripture, the man was dump. The spirit in him was a dump spirit and manifested that trait through him. After that demon was cast out, he begun to speak.

Many sicknesses and diseases are as a result of demonic presence in the bodies of these people. When the spirits are commanded to leave in faith they would go, and the condition would change.

A mother brought her two-year-old daughter to church who was suffering from asthma. She had tried both medical and herbal means to have healing but nothing changed. The demon of asthma was commanded to leave. Within that short moment the mother also showed symptoms of asthma, but it subsided. I asked the mother if any of her relatives had asthma. She said her auntie had it. From the manifestation she had, I realized this was a hereditary disease caused by a demon in her family. From that moment the daughter has been free from that affliction. It’s been eight years now and that thing has not relapsed anymore.

In Mathew 10:1 the Lord Jesus said the following to His disciples, which includes you too. Mat 10:1 KJV “And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease”. You have authority and the power to cast out demons. Command disease causing spirits to leave your body, before thinking about hospital. If most of us would do this, a lot of medical conditions that seems to get out of hand, would have been prevented.

CONFESSION

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for giving us the authority over devils and to cast them out. I exercise this authority and I bring glory to the Lord Jesus in my life.
