FAITH TAKES THE ANSWER. 2

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 8:13 KJV “And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the self-same hour.”

We ended our last study with the following question: what happens in the case of the one who believes but still things remain the same? This is a question that has lingered on the minds of many because in their sincerest hearts they have believed the word yet nothing has changed. They may not question verbally, yet deep down in their hearts, they ask, is this word true? Before I proceed further to make any statements, I wish to state that, there is no error, fault or failure in God. If there is any failure, then it is from men and not with God. Heb 6:18 KJV” That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:” God does not have the ability or capacity to lie. We men must study carefully every instruction to posses whatever promise the Lord God has given.

Whenever a child of God believes the word, the promise of God is fully fulfilled in his heart. What we must also be aware of is to know that, we have miracles and recoveries. Miracles can take place by the snap of a finger. Recoveries may take some time to fully come forth. Mark 16:18b reads, and they shall lay their hands on the sick and they shall recover.  Certain people are not ready to keep trusting the word of God in such moments. They soon question the potency of God’s word or the integrity of God.

The Lord Jesus explains this point in Mark 4:26-29. He said the kingdom of God, or one of the principles of the operations of God is after this manner. When a seed is sown, men sleep and wake up over some days, not knowing how this seed is doing. It then begins to grow. First the blade, then the ear and finally the full corn in the ear. This is the process a grain of corn goes through till it is harvested. (The word is also a seed) The Lord said, that is what happens when a child of God believes the word. If nothing seems to have changed, do not cast away your confidence in the word of God. Please note also that Satan may interfere with your faith in the word by introducing doubt and unbelieve in your mind. This then becomes the real fight. You must stand your ground and never allow any wrong thought against the word of God or God Himself to land in you. (1 Timothy 6:12)

Some brethren keep oscillating between believing and doubting. This is what creates failure for the Christian, causing a longer delay of your answer, more than is necessary. Matters become worse when that person starts accepting that the word of God has failed.

What must you do in such times? Keep listening to faith building messages. Continue confessing your victory and do not consider the symptoms. (Romans 4:17-21)

CONFESSION

Thank you, my dear heavenly father, for your love and power. Your word is as your very self. Ever true and unchanging. I believe whatever your word says, and I have whatever the word says.

1 Timothy 6:12 KJV” Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”

Romans 4:19 – 21KJV” And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform”.
