KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 9:24 KJV “He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.”

We continue with our study on the walk with Jesus through the gospels. Jesus’ life was a life of miracles. As we studied some time ago. Jesus’ life was an example to us, showing us the right way to live. Miracle should be our normal experiences. We must take a very good analysis of what He did to produce all these miracles, in the light of the principles He taught about how to experience miracles on a day-to-day basis. In our key scripture, the Lord got to the ruler who had invited Him to raise his dead child. Please observe the following steps to working miracles.

1.He told them the girl was not dead but asleep. Miracles are always initiated by bold speaking. This principle is seen in the following scripture 10:10 KJV” For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Miracles would never occur without first believing what God has said about that thing and then boldly saying it. David used this same principle to kill Goliath. At the tomb of Lazarus, the Lord applied the same principle. BELIEVE THE WORD IN YOUR HEART, SAY IT BOLDLY WITH YOUR MOUTH, and the power of God (miracles) would be released.

2 He put off all the mourners and those doubters and the mockers. If those people had said praise the Lord to His initial statement, He would have allowed them to stay. Do not give any attention to mockers and unbelievers. By putting them away, He expressed that He has no business with them concerning the situation at stake. He took the final step after he had sacked all the doubters and unbelievers away.

3. The last step was to act on the what He had been saying. Much about talking and confessions, it was time for action. He went and took the girl by the hand asking her to arise. The girl who was under the supernatural power of God as a result of the supernatural steps the Lord was taking. A miracle cannot be delivered into reality until a corresponding action is taken. Goliath will never had been slain if David had said all the statements, he made without running towards him and releasing the stone. Now just consider how apostle James put it Jas 2:26 KJV” For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

Set these principles in your heart and boldly apply them, and the supernatural power of God would always be real to you.

CONFESSIONS

The word of God shows me how to live. I experience the supernatural power of God always in my life. I believe in whatever promise God has made. I express my believe by voicing out that word. By my positive actions. God’s power always come into reality bringing real changes or miracles to the situation. .
