THE PARABLE OF THE SOWER EXPLAINED 6

KEY SCRIPTURE— Matthew 13:23 (KJV).“But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”

The Lord gives the final explanation about the type of heart that received the seed. He calls it the good heart. He said this heart understands the word, keeps the word, and it bears fruits. This man believes in the word even in challenging times. It therefore bears fruit. Every seed has the potential to bear fruits, so long as it is kept in the soil. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.”— Isaiah 55:11 (KJV)

This verse and our Lord’s explanation about the good soil or heart, shows us how miracles may be seen daily in our lives. It shows us that miracles are a product of the word in our hearts. In times of trials, one should not in any way give attention to the situation. A farmer who has planted seeds never worries in the moment of hunger. He focuses on the seed planted. He keeps watering the seed till it grows and he harvests the fruits. That brings an end to the hunger.

What is the problem at stake.? Is it a miracle for health challenge, or a need in your son, or any problem of any kind, the solution is in the seed in your heart? Just make sure the seed is in your heart. This means, let the word remain in your heart. Consider the following scriptural explanation. Proverbs 4:20-22 (KJV). ²⁰ My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. ²¹ Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. ²² For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. The word in you, and your subsequent faith in it, would bring you the miracle. What happens to most people in trying moments is that, they look at the severity of the challenge and then begins to fear. Fear means one has forsaken the word to put faith in the word of the enemy.

Dear child of God, in the day of crisis watch over your heart, and give no place to any word of failure or thought which is contrary to what God says. Rejoice in the assurance of the word, knowing that if God’s word is in your heart, then you have your miracle. No matter the level of the opposition, the word in your heart cannot fail to yield fruit. “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” — Numbers 23:19 (KJV). In every situation, there are two voices or words that you have to make a choice to believe. The voice or word of the situation, and the voice or word of God. Choose God’s word and let the word create that miracle you need.

CONFESSION

The word of God is life and healing in all situations, I focus on the word. My heart is always full of praise for the word is sure. With God’s Word in my heart, I have my answer in my hands.
