Judgement for all the disobedient

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 13:41 KJV The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

LIFE teaches us that, the good obedient and the disciplined are always rewarded whiles the disobedient, and the offenders are always punished or discipline. 2Co 5:10 KJV. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad”. In our subsequent studies, we would be studying about God’s judgements as revealed in the Bible.

WHY is it necessary to be judged?

1. Man’s conscience demands that when one violates rules and laws he must be judged. The scriptures reveal that one’s conscience will accuse the guilty (Rom 2:14-15)

2.History demands that the injustices of the human race through and the perversions of God’s righteous laws must be judged before the holy and righteous God. World leaders, various people in advantaged positions who maltreated their subjects, husbands who wickedly battered their wives and many more cannot go without facing God’s righteous judgment.

3. God’s law which is just, righteous and holy, demands that He judges all sin. He does this at His throne of judgment.

The Day of judgment. This will be a day of reckoning when God will bring all men before His throne to give account of their lives as lived here on earth. (Acts 17:31, Rom 2:16, “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”— 2 Peter 3:7 (KJV)

The following are some facts about God’s judgements.

A. There will be an appointed day of judgment for the believer and for the unbeliever (2 Corinth 5:10, Rom 14:10, Acts 24:25, Rev 20:11-15)

B. There will be the appointed Judge our Lord Jesus Christ, John 5:22-27,Matt 25:31-32,2 Timothy 4:1,

C. There will be an appointed purpose

1. To reveal the true character of each person Matt 10:26,1 Corinth 4:5

2.To determine the value of all the works of men. 1 Cor 3:13

3.To render public reward or punishment, as men are not always rewarded or punished in this life. Matt 16:27, Rom 2:6-9

4.To vindicate the righteous of God, in His dealings with men. Rev 19:1-2

PRAYER

O Father, fill the minds and hearts of your children wit the truth concerning your eternal judgment, so all men will act responsibly at all times.

For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:  Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
