SOME FACTS ABOUT GOD’S JUDGEMENT

KEY SCRIPTURE: Acts 17:31 (KJV). “Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.”

 We continue with the facts of God’s judgment.

4.There will be appointed principles and standard of judgment.

A. Men would be judged with righteous judgment Acts 17:31, PS 96:13. There is no partiality with God and so everyone would be given his or her due.

B. Men would be judged according to God’s holy standards. (Rom 2:6,10,11, Rev 22:12) Every action would be judged according to how sincere and pure his motive was

C. Men would be judged according to their attitude to Christ (Luke 12:8,9) Did you act in love for Jesus or something else. Did you do whatever you did, because of money, fame or genuine love for Jesus?

 D. Men would be judged according to their measure of light or opportunity given them. (Matt 11:21-24, Luke 12:48,) To him much is given much would be expected. Teachers would be judged more sternly James 3:1

E. Men would be judged by the infallible and omniscient judge. There would be no chance of mistaken judgment, for He has all the hidden facts, deeds motive, and thoughts of men before him. (Eccles 12:14)

F. Men would be rewarded and punished in different degrees Luke 29:16-19. Some rewards would be more glorious than others.

G. Men would be convinced of the righteousness of God’s judgment upon them. No one would have any doubts about the absolute fairness of the judgment meted to him or her. (Jude 14,15, Matt 12:37, Luke 19:22)

Dear brother or sister the above facts about God’s judgment is like an examiner’s marking scheme, study it carefully and write the examination of life accordingly.

I thank God for stating very clearly His terms for judging all men. I live in line with His revelations, pleasing Him by grace.

 Ecclesiastes 12:14 (KJV). “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.”

Jude 1 (KJV).  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousand of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
