ACCEPTING THE WILL OF GOD

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 17:22 (KJV). “And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:”

Our Lord Jesus, at this point prophesied about God’s will for His life. God’s will for Him was shame, pain, rejection and death and finally resurrection. These were to the human mind, negative and yet that was God’s way of showing His love for all mankind. This was God’s way to save all humanity. He was the appointed lamb of God to take away the sin of the whole world John 1:29. The will of God, no matter how painful, shameful, it may be, is birth in love for us, a product of perfect wisdom and is controlled by the highest of all power. How can anyone reject such a will?

What is the will of God for your life? There are many today who are struggling with God’s will for their lives. The truth about such people is that., they live without peace and seriously make a mess of their lives. Jonah, the Old Testament prophet and evangelist would not accept God’s will for His life. He kicks against it, runs away from it, yet everything turns turbulent and ends up in the belly of a whale. Dear reader, why not accept God’s will and experience, HIS love peace and power rather than turmoil, torment and failure?

The Lord accepted the will of the Father, and now I am saved as a result. Billions of humans have received eternal life. Have you been saved? His will concerning your salvation is that you may believe in Jesus, and make Him the Lord of your life. He reigns over all things. Doing the will of God is a win win issue. If you are living in any sinful way, then accept His will and forsake that sinful way. God’s will is your deliverance, your peace and your prosperity.

CONFESSION

Lord your will is my life, my peace and success. I bow and accept every will you have for me. I am always the winner doing what you tell me to do.
