PRAISING GOD RELEASES HIS POWER

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 21:16 (KJV). “And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?”

We continue with our walk with Jesus through the gospels After the Lord Jesus had healed the sick in the temple, the little children praised Him.  The Lord explained that, this is a fulfillment of scripture in Psalm 8:2, that reads “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.”— Psalms 8:2 (KJV). The Lord’s statement is a direct quotation of the scripture in the Psalm, but He substituted the words ‘ordained strength’ to still the enemy and the avenger’ with the words, ‘perfected praise.’ We could see that the words perfected praise means ordained strength. Praising God in truth releases the strength and power of God. He said this strength is ordained in the mouth of babies and sucklings Babies and sucklings, can also stand for all those who take God at His word. When such people declare His praises, they release power to stop the enemy.

PRAISE is beautiful. Learn to praise the Lord always. In difficult and trying moments, praise will pull down the enemy and all that he is amassing against you. In 2 Chronicles 20, king Jehoshaphat was faced with a war with the Moabites and the Amorites. He enquired of  the Lord who said he did not have to fight but had go to  the war front any way. He consulted with his people and appointed singers to lead with praises. The Lord fought for them and they did not lift a finger to fight Praising the lord ordained strength to stop the enemy.

Dear one, are you in any problem with no solution in sight? You might have done all you know to do, yet to no avail. Get into praises. You may set sometime in the night to praise the Lord. Celebrate the Lord with praises and dancing. Such praises would still the enemy and peace would prevail. It is of no use worrying about whatever Satan may be doing, praise your way to victory and peace

 CONFESSION

Praising the Lord is comely and powerful. I give the Lord perfected praise irrespective of what may be happening. Praises brings down the power of God to effect great changes in my live.
