KEY SCRIPTURE: John 6:32 KJV” Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.”
After the people had made reference to Moses giving manna to the people, the Lord, decided to explain to them that which is the real bread that God gives. Bread stands for that which nourishes and satisfies. God gave the manna through Moses. Exodus 16:15 KJV And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD hath given you to eat. The manna came from God through Moses yet it does not satisfy the hunger of the soul. The manna was a wonder or ration meal that met their physical needs in the wilderness. It was a type of the real bread that God our Father gives to all humanity to satisfy them in truth.
Man is not only this body that we see. Man is the Spirit and dwells in the body. For the body without the spirit is dead. James 2:26. It is the Spirit in the body that makes the individual alive yet the Spirit cannot dwell in a weak body. The body must be kept well whiles the Spirit is well strengthened. The life of Jesus in a man works in both aspects of man.1Ti 4:8 KJV For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. Every natural resource has a limited benefit, yet the supernatural have both natural and spiritual impact.
Jesus said, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. The word has natural and supernatural impact. Jesus is the word of God. We have to place our lives on the word. God’s word is applicable to every aspect of our lives. It has effect The word makes a man perfect, and thoroughly furnished unto every good work. 2 Tim 3:17. The word furnish means it will add up to your life and perfect everything that is lacking about you. This is what the bread of life will bring to you. Make sure you daily feed yourself with this word. It is meat indeed.
THOUGHT: THE BREAD OF LIFE SATISFIES COMPLETELY
