KEY SCRIPTURE: John 9:10 KJV “Therefore said they unto him, How were thine eyes opened?”

Miracles are God’s acts among men. Miracles make men wonder. Miracles attract men to God. Even hard-core Atheists would believe in God when they encounter a miracle in their lives. In our key scripture, the people wanted to know how his eyes were opened because it was not possible for one in that condition to have His eyes opened. John 2:23 KJV “Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.” Many would still believe in our time when they see miracles Jesus performs through His children.

Back to the question of the people, in our key scripture; they asked, how did he open your eyes? I believe this is a question many of us would want to know the answer to when we encounter one who has a miracle. Miracles, as much as it is a divine act, is a cooperation between man and God. God has revealed His part in His word, the bible. He has told us of His love for all mankind. He demonstrated his love by allowing our Lord Jesus, to take our place in bearing our shame, pain, diseases, and dying for us. Man is to believe all that the Bible has revealed about Jesus. Man demonstrates his belief by acting on the word of God. There are also times that God will move in to save a situation by virtue of sovereignty.

Cassidy Kalaugher (CK), is a young Austrian girl, who was an outright atheist, who made a mockery of Christians and God. She protested against a lot of the positions of the Christians. She went on a pride parade and was living to satisfy her pleasures. She was taken down with Crohn’s disease and was hospitalized. On one night when she knew she could not make it to the next day, a beautiful Jamaican lady came to her. This Jamaican asked her to allow her to pray for her (CK)but she refused it.CK said she was not ready for anything God. This lady insisted and prayed for her anyway and left. She did not believe in prayer. By the next morning, she woke up feeling stronger and completely well. She did not believe, yet God out of mercy healed her. (Please check on YouTube for her testimony). She later made a decision to give her life over to Jesus.

CONFESSION

God my father is still in the miracle business. I believe in His word. Miracles are happening all around me and right in my life. Miracles of divine healing, miracles of supernatural supplies. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
