STEPS TO ANSWERED PRAYER 3

KEY SCRIPTURE: Proverbs 4:23 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life”.

The next step to having answers to your prayers is to let every thought and desire affirm that you have what you asked for, or be positive in your thinking.

After you prayed in faith according to God’s word never permit a mental picture of failure in your mind. Don’t doubt for one minute that you have the answer. If doubt seem to show up refuse it with your mouth. Rebuke doubt and get your mind on the answer. This is done by putting your mind on the word.

Our key scripture tells us to guard our hearts with all diligence for out of it are the issues of life. If you allow doubt and negativity to dwell on your mind that is what you would have in your life. James 4:7 tells us…….. “Resist the devil and he will flee from you”

The apostle Peter also repeated this statement in another sense in 1st Peter 5:8, as follows “Be sober, be vigilant because your adversary, the devil as a roaring lion, walketh about searching whom he may devour “. The verse 9a says “Whom resist steadfast in the faith…..”

Your thought would ultimately influence your believing, so give no place to doubtful thoughts. Rebuke doubt each time it shows up and fix your thought or mind on the answer that is the word of God.

In order to receive answers to your prayers, you must eradicate every image, suggestion, vision, dream, impression, feeling and all thoughts that do not contribute to your faith.

Anything that contradicts the word of God must be rejected.

       CONFESSION

My heart is occupied with the word of God. There is no place for any word of the liar. I believe whatever God says about my situation. That settles it. I have my answer and living in the answer.

THOUGHT:   KEEP YOUR THOUGHTS CLEAN SO YOU CAN POSSESS YOUR ANSWER.

Mark 11:23-24  “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore, I say unto you, what things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”.
