KEY SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinth 10:5 “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ”

In these series of teachings, I would be making certain repetitions from our previous studies. This is intentional since repetition only establishes the truth received. Philippians 3:1 “Finally my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe”. It is safe, to be established in the truth.

Once again, I say guard against evil thoughts that come into your mind to try to make you doubt God’s word.

Thoughts are governed by observation, association and teaching. Our key scripture tells us to cast down every imagination that exalts itself against the knowledge of God. That’s why you should stay away from all places and things that do not support your affirmation that God has answered your prayer. Remember your thoughts are governed by observations, associations and teaching.

This means that sometimes you will have to stay away from the kind of churches that can put more doubt and unbelief in you than anything else. Also, be sure to fellowship with those who contribute to your faith.

The word of God shows us what we must think about in Philippians 4:8 “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”.

The Bible tells us in Philippians exactly what to think about. Many people are thinking about the wrong things and are defeated in life as a result. But if you would guard against every evil thought and think only on the things which affirm that God has heard and answered your prayers. In this way, you would be operating with God in faith. Guard your mind so you would develop your faith. Your faith would see you through. (1st John 5:4)

      CONFESSIONS

God always answers me as I pray according to His word. I, therefore, have my answer, even though it might not have manifested physically. I know God’s word is true and settled in heaven. I rejoice in my answers!!!
