JESUS RESURRECTION AND IT’S RELATED LESSONS

KEY SCRIPTURE:1 Corinthians 15 :20. “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept.”

The resurrection of our Lord Jesus is a very significant event in history. Luke wrote that, Jesus showed Himself alive to his disciples by many infallible proofs (Acts 1:2). There are so many evidences of His resurrection, yet, I will talk about only one of the evidences for this moment. This is the testimony of his disciples. These were men who had gone into hiding, (although, men like John reported he witnessed the crucifixion) when he was captured and crucified, yet ‘out of the blue’ they were all over the place testifying that Jesus had resurrected, and that they had seen Him. “This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.” (Acts 2:32). These disciples proved that they had encountered the resurrected Lord by giving over their lives to be killed for what they had seen and known was the truth. History teaches us that all the apostles besides Judas who betrayed the master, died a martyred death except Apostle John. Please these men did not talk about having a dream of his resurrection, but physically met with Him. They ate with him, touched him and saw him go up into heaven (. John 20:27, 1 John 1:1, John 21:12-14)

The truth of the resurrection brings home to every man certain reality that we must all face.

1 His resurrection teaches He is the only way to the father as well as the only name given among men, whereby we may be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12)

2. There is life after death and the death of a Christian should not cause so much sorrow, because he or she has only been translated to a glorious place, where we will definitely meet again. (1 Thess 4:13 & 14)

3.There is going to be a judgment with rewards for those who lived in honor of the Lord, but to those who lived to satisfy their flesh in disobedience, they shall be punished and cast into eternal fire. (John 5:29)

4 His resurrection informs all Christians to take up the great commission very seriously. In every minute or hour countless multitudes pass on into eternity. Many definitely die in their sins. According to the Bible they will end up in hell. This should place a high sense of urgency to win them at all cost. We must say with Apostle Paul, necessity is laid on me, woe is me if I preach not the gospel. (1 Corinth 9:16)

5. In Ephesians 1:19, 20 the Holy Spirit reveals that God has given to every believer in Jesus, a super power which is the same as what he worked in Jesus to raise him from the dead. This gives us power to stop every work of the enemy and set others free.

6 The resurrection brings to us hope to joyfully endure every persecution for our Lord, because we know that we would be rewarded for our faithfulness. (1 Corinth 15:58)

CONFESSION

My Lord Jesus is not in the grave, He is alive. He lives in me. I am also victorious in this life, and over any condition. I have a living hope, which is an anchor for my soul. I boldly testify to the lost to win them from eternal destruction.

FURTHER STUDIES

Acts 1 :3- To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:  2 “Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.”

REST FOR YOUR SOULS

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 11:29 KJV “Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”

The Lord Jesus teaches us how to have rest for our souls. The Lord asks us to take his yoke or join Him, and learn from Him. He says He is meek and lowly in heart.

What are the characteristics of a meek person?

1.The meek person is very teachable PS 25:9

2.They meek is patient and so possesses the earth. Ps 37:11

3.God beautifies the meek with Salvation. Psalm 149:4

4. The meek increases his joy in the Lord. Isaiah 29:19

5.The meek is hid from God’s anger on the day of Judgment. Zeph 2:3

6 The meek controls his strength.

The meek man endures challenges and stays through difficult times, till he overcomes. This is not so with the proud man. He attacks himself and anyone he feels is making things difficult for him. The proud man is easily offended when he is mistreated and cannot easily forgive his offender. The proud is highly unteachable and therefore suffers in his folly. God is very much against the proud and therefore, he suffers God’s Judgment (James 4:6) Whiles the meek and lowly man enjoys doing his tasks with joy and satisfaction, the proud complains, questions and is generally very much  unrest..

In science substances stay afloat because they have a hollow internal part, whiles substances that have no hollow internal portions cannot float, but sink. A meek man is selfless and so is not full of himself. This makes him hollow within. He is carried rather by what should have sunk him, and make things less miserable for him. The proud man is full of himself, and so he is like the substance with no hollow part and does sinks into life matters, making life miserable for him

When we compare further, other natural substances like a ship, it can carry any burden or load imaginable, so long as it has the hollow part. If anything should fill up that hollow portion, it can’t carry the smallest paper, it will sink.

The Lord said my yoke is easy and my burden is light, because I ‘m meek and lowly, in  heart making him like the hollow ship, which is able to bear very heavy weights.. He had the sins of the whole world to carry, yet claimed it was easy. You can indeed have rest for your soul, if you choose to be meek and lowly like the Lord Jesus.  Throw away any form of pride, it makes you feel important within, but the truth is, it only messes you up

CONFESSION

I am filled with the Spirit of God. He is gentle ‘, meek and kind. I do manifest the trait of meekness. My soul is always at rest.

FURTHER STUDIES

Psalms 22:26 KJV. The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live forever.

Isaiah 11:4 KJV” But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.”

REST FOR THE WEARY

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 11:28 KJV” Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”

The Lord Jesus who said I am the way, the truth and the life says to all weary and troubled souls to come unto Him, and He will give them rest. There are two groups of persons in this life. There are those who have received the life of God, and are living by the power of God. There are also those who have not received the life of God and are living by themselves. Those without the life of God are unfortunately having to face the dictates and control of the god of this world. This being is the master of everyone who has not the life of God.

WHO are those with the life of God? These people have eternal life. 1Jn 5:13 KJV” These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” Eternal life is the nature and the very life of God that He gives all those who believe in Jesus. Those who have not surrendered the control of their lives to the Lordship of Jesus do not have eternal life and so they live by their natural life. Any man without eternal life is under the influence of the prince of the power of the air. Ephesians 2:2 KJV” Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

THIS prince of the power of the air is figuratively like the tyrant king Pharoah who dominated and tormented the people of Israel in Egypt. He is over burdening men with sin, sicknesses, demonic harassment, torment in their souls, anger, fear, stress and everything that makes one weary in the soul.

There is good news for you. You can put down these heavy weights of torment that this prince of the power of the air has given to you. Receive eternal life today. Receive the power that makes you a master of Satan. Receive rest for your soul.

THIS is the free offer our Lord Jesus gives you. You have the right to change your master, king or Lord. Jesus says come all who are burdened with all the torments of this life, and I will give you rest.

HOW can one receive the rest Jesus gives? You do so by making Him the Lord of your life. If you would sincerely denounce Satan and his ways, but will confess Jesus as Lord of your life and believe he died and rose again from death, you would have eternal life.

DO so by saying the following prayer. Please mean every bit of it.

PRAYER

Dear heavenly father, I denounce Satan and all his ways. I surrender my life to you. I declare Jesus is the Lord of my life. I believe He rose from the dead after the third day. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul. Amen.

FURTHER STUDIES

Rom 10:9 KJV “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

John 3:16 KJV” For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

GOD PREFERS BABIES

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 11:25 KJV “At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.”

God prefers to deal with those with certain traits of babies. Our key scripture says He (God) has hidden His ways, wisdom and wonders from the wise and prudent of this world, but has revealed them to babies. What are the special traits of babies that makes them preferred choices of God?

1.Babies are absolutely dependent on their patents. They express perfect faith in their parents. (James 1:6-8)

2. babies do not take thoughts about anything. (Phil 46&7) They are okay with what they have. They don’t worry.

3. Babies would not keep any hurt.

4.Babies expect the best from their parents and believe their parents are the best.

5. It is in the light of these characteristics of children that make people who can exhibit these traits become God’s preferred choices.

When Jesus’ disciples came to Him asking of which of them would be greatest in the kingdom of heaven. The Lord put a little child in their midst and said the following. Mat 18:4 KJV” Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. “The Lord revealed in this verse that children are very humble. The Lord said in the beatitudes of Matt 5 t3 that   blessed or happy are the poor in heart or spirit or the humble, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. In Psalm 8:2 Psa 8:2 KJV, the psalmist wrote “Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. He gives power and authority to the humble. The scripture says He gives more grace to the humble James 4:6.

Every man who has experienced so much of God has been very childlike in relating to God. 1st Corinthians 1:18-31, introduces the folly of human wisdom and prudence in relating to God. He reveals that it took the foolishness of preaching about the death of Jesus on the cross to save the lost. This is stupidity to the wise of this world. To us who would be childlike, it is the power of God. It reveals also that God has chosen that men through wisdom cannot know him. Man must know God by accepting the revelation God has given of himself in the Bible. The scripture also says in that passage that God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. He has chosen those who would be childlike in relating to Him to be possessors of His l authority, mysteries and miracles.  Would you repent and be like a child in relating to God?

 PRAYER

Dear father, give me the heart of a child in relating to you. I break away from all pride of any form. I show total dependance on you all the way.

FURTHER STUDIES

1Corinth 1:18-22 KJV” For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God, For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world, For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.”

DON’T BE DIVISIVE

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 11:17 ISV ‘A wedding song we played for you, the dance you all did scorn.   A woeful dirge we chanted, too, but then you would not mourn.’

The above scripture depicts the way certain groups of people approach God and His word. The Lord speaking figuratively said, the people of His day are the type who would not dance to a song of jubilation nor mourn when a woeful dirge was played. These people went on to describe John the Baptist as a man with a demon and to the Lord they said he is a glutton and a drunkard a friend of tax collectors, yet wisdom is justified by his children. These people are simply divisive. They have been exposed to the truth, yet through hardness of heart continue in their deception. Romans 2:8 As the scripture says these ones until they repent, shall never come to the knowledge of the truth. There is a peace that submission to Jesus brings.

Dear brother or sister do not be deceived. The Bible shows and teaches how men are deceived. Col 2:8 Men are taken captive by philosophy that is human wisdom and also vain and empty deceit with its source from traditions of men (ideas that men have transferred from generation to generation). These philosophy and vain deceit also proceed from studies from our physical world, called science and not after Christ. Our Lord Jesus is not a myth, classical history and Biblical history reveals He lived on this earth, born of a virgin, worked so much miracles (He still works miracles through those who have believed in him). He was crucified by Pontius Pilate, but rose from the grave on the third day.

HE stands at your heart today, knocking that you would repent and let Him in. All those who let Him into their lives have experienced peace beyond human understanding. They have encountered the power of the Spirit to living victorious over sin, Satan and situations of life. Jesus is alive and real. Stop being divisive and receive Him who is the way, the truth and the life. You would come to the end of your search for reality. This is your moment to encounter Him who has transformed millions and is still counting. Jesus is the head of all principality and power. He says, I stand at the door (of your heart) and knock, if you would open your heart to Him today, He would come in and make life more meaningful to you. Countless atheists hardened criminals, as well as people of very good morals yet did not know Him, have all given him their hearts and have now found reality. I have found him; he is my lord and my life is a great delight. Stop being divisive and give your heart to Him today.

CONFESSION

Jesus is the only way. Jesus is truth. Jesus is life. What an amazing truth. He is the Lord of my life and I am free from the domain of evil.

FURTHER STUDIES

1Timothy 1:15 KJV “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.”

TAKING THE KINGDOM

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 11:12 KJV. And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.

The kingdom of God has a number of renderings in the gospels. It is symbolized as where God dwells. It also stands for the rule of God in the hearts of men. Different principles and experiences of children of  God are also referred to in certain portions of scripture as the kingdom of God. Matthew 13:24 KJV” Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:” This very verse relates to what happens to people, yet it is referred to the kingdom of God. In the light of these explanations, when our key scripture says violent men take the kingdom by force, it can refer to possessing the blessings or provisions of the kingdom of God. It says the violent take these blessings, provisions or privileges by force.

The Lord by this verse is saying every provision or blessing in the kingdom of God can be taken by not begging God for them, yet through faith and assurance in your heart you possess them.

These provisions include, peace, the power of God, healing, blessings of abundance, supernatural wisdom, long life, holiness and many more. The Lord says since the days of John the Baptist the kingdom of God has suffered violence, and violent men take it by force. Taking by violence means not giving regard to existing protocols. In the book of Mark 5 :25-34, the woman with the issue of blood took her healing by violence. She did not ask Jesus for His permission before taking hold of her healing. She took it by force. God loves to have His children take their blessings by force.

IT takes some level of violence to possess things of the Spirit. For example, the woman with the issue of blood had to violate a lot of barriers. As a woman with the issue of blood she was not supposed to come into the midst of others. Lev 15:19 KJV “And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even.” Coming into the midst of people could mean her death, but she had to violate that too. What was the reason in touching Jesus garment, yet she had to violate every natural reasoning to do that. The end result was that she took the” blessing of the kingdom,” and that was her healing. Figuratively she took the kingdom by violence and indeed it is the delight of God that we take ‘ the kingdom’, that is the blessings of the kingdom by violence or by force.

CONFESSION

Every act of faith is a step of violence. By faith I violate certain natural laws and principles to possess whatever God has promised

Hebrews 11:33, 34 KJV Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

WHAT WE SAY IN THE ABSENCE OF OTHERS

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matt 11:7 KJV. And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?”

What do we normally talk about those who are far away from us? Do we defame them, praise or say the truth about them? In our above story, the disciples, of John the Baptist had just left the presence of Jesus so whatever was to be said about them would be clearly be outside their knowledge. The Lord Jesus never said anything negative about John. He could have commented about John’s lack of faith in him, yet He chose to shower praises on him. Please note this, never say bad things about others in their absence, because they cannot know of it, enough to defend themselves. What about comments about   individuals who are dead? If the individual is dead, then make sure whatever you say is the truth. This may be to teach a lesson, or to clarify an issue, just say the truth. God is always at the defense of the defenseless. You may attract God’s anger, if you tell falsehood about those who have passed on.

When King Saul killed the Gibeonites after Joshua had gone into a covenant of peace with their fathers who were dead and gone many years, God still came to their defense (2 Sam. 21:1, Joshua 10:1) It was quite fatal for the people of Israel.

In the story of the Lord and John let’s consider some of the statements the Lord made about John in his absence. Mat 11:9 KJV “But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet”. The Lord went further to state that John was greater than all men born of women except those born in the kingdom of God. (This refers to those who have received new life in Jesus Christ.) The Lord made all these comments about John the Baptist after John had expressed doubts about Him. Many people are very quick to comment about certain individuals, that they have very little information about (don’t comment about individuals you don’t know). Some condemn and utter all kinds of wrong and false comments about individuals that they have very scanty knowledge about. Eph 4:15 KJV “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:”

Please, you must understand the power of words, and use them rightly to advance your course in this life. The scripture says as you always speak the truth you grow to become like Jesus in all things. This also means, as you spill out falsehood about people and Lies in general, you would grow to become like the father of liars (John 8:44.) Proverbs 10:18 KJV “He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.” Be very careful about remarks you make about others. To speak out of hatred in slanderous ways makes you a fool

CONFESSION

WORDS are the most powerful tools in this life. I use words to my advantage all the time. I utter words of truth motivated by love for all persons. I refuse to speak falsehood about people or situations. I give no place to hatred about anyone that could breed slander and evil speaking.

WHEN DOUBT SETS IN

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matt 11:2 & 3 KJV “Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, And said unto him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?

John the Baptist introduced the Lord Jesus to the Israelites by revelation he had from the Holy Spirit. (John 1:33). He said he did not know him. Joh 1:31 KJV “And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.” John had been in the wilderness since he came of age and has not been in touch with lots of people. John after sometime of his ministry was captured by king Herod and put in prison. John sent two of his disciples to enquire from Jesus if indeed he is the Messiah. John at this instant doubted whether Jesus was the Christ and wanted to be sure. Some level of doubt was creeping in here.

What is doubt? Doubt is thoughts of uncertainties concerning an issue. There is a difference between doubt and unbelief. Unbelief is a refusal to accept a fact. The unbeliever is an active rejecter of the revealed truth. The doubter doubts because his information about the issue is very small, and so must seek, or learn further to overcome the doubts in his mind. Unbelief willingly rejects the truth. Unbelief is therefore a sinful act (Mark 16:14) whiles the doubter is not, yet supposed to seek for further knowledge to clear his mind of any uncertainties. John also sent two of his disciples to enquire so that, his mind will be free from all the doubt. When doubt start rising in your heart, be quick to establish yourself in the truth. Doubt in your mind does not mean you are defeated, but it is a condition leading to be defeated, if you do nothing about it.

Anytime doubt rises up in you, quickly turn to the scriptures and say it to yourself. Go to testimonies of how God answered others in similar situations If Doubt is not treated, it will become unbelief, that will lead you to be hardened about the truth. Unbelief is a hardening of one’s heart. Mar 16:14 KJV” Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.” Unbelief rejects the promise which brings the blessing, Faith is a humbling of your heart or submission of your soul to what God says. Faith always accepts the promise. This is the reason faith possesses the answer all the time. Luke 1:45 KJV” And blessed is she that believed: for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

CONFESSION

Doubt may come yet I do not give place to it. My mind and heart is settled about the truth of God’s word and ever ready to accept it, even if my mind does not understand it. By faith I understand what God says.

JESUS IS AFFECTED BY WHAT AFFECTS US.

KEY SCRIPTURE: Mat 10:40 KJV He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

Our key scripture states that whosoever receives any of the Lord’s children receives Him.  THIS truth has two aspects of benefit to it. Those who would be positively affected, as well as those who would be negatively affected by it. It also reveals the strong ties we have with the Lord. The Lord said in the proceeding verse that anyone who receives a Christian receives the Lord himself, and subsequently receives the father also. This implies every one of us must endeavor to give the best of treatment to any child of God we encounter. It is also applicable to all persons who may not be Christians, for everyone is made in the image of God. The Lord added that there is a big reward for any brother or sister who kindly attends to any child of God. Matt 10:42 KJV “And whosoever shall give unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.” The Lord taught us that whenever we are kind to anyone because he is a disciple or a child of God, we would be rewarded for it.

There are some brethren who treat their house helps and boys, like trash. This is very dangerous to you. It is the Lord you are mishandling that way. There are some people who speak so much evil against servants of God without knowing much about them. Some Christians would never give any help of any kind to those who need it. Now just consider this, if being kind to persons because they are disciples, brings so much rewards, then what would happen to those who are terrible to the children of God?

The child of God is a member of the body of Christ and so failure to discern that this person is the body of Christ, brings unnecessary challenges to you. 1 Corinth 11:29, says.” For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.” To discern means to distinguish, to set apart or to be aware. To treat a fellow Christian with preference and dignity. is a rear opportunity for you. The scripture taught that those who fail to discern the body of Christ, are sick, weak and some even die, because they failed to discern the body of Christ, of which that brother or sister you may be mishandling is part of (1 Corinth 11:30).

The married home is a place where many Christians are seriously failing in these matters. Each party may carry a grudge because of an OFFENCE. They may insult, beat up their partner, or deny them certain courtesies because they feel hurt.  The Lord said if you   do it to one of the least of my brethren, you have done it to me. May we always treat all persons with dignity and respect.

CONFESSION

God’s children are all very special to Him. I attend to everyone with love   and respect, knowing that they are part of the body of Christ.

FURTHER STUDIES

Matt 25:45 KJV” Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me”.

Matt 10:41 KJV He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

CALL TO DISCIPLESHIP

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 10:37 KJV “He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.”

(Please read Matt 10 :34-39)

To be a disciple is to follow a master by learning and doing what the master teaches and does. The meaning of being a disciple of Jesus is to deny yourself of your egos, ambitions, preferences to take only that which the Lord instructs you. The Lord clearly stated His terms for being His disciple and we must fully adhere to them, so we can be what He expects of us.

Just consider some of the things He said about being a His disciple. Matthew 10:34 KJV “Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” This statement does not mean His disciples should take up arms to fight their enemies, but rather a call to place Him first above family relations. This means one’s family members will be at variance with such person, because his persuasions would be different from theirs, creating conflicts in some instances.

HE said in very clear terms who a disciple is. Luke 14:26 KJV’ If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.” This statement unequivocally means you can’t be his disciple if you prefer your family or yourself to Him.

The way of the Lord Jesus is not the kind any ordinary human being would prefer to go. He came to serve instead of being served. (John 13:14) When he was beaten, He did not retaliate. (1 Peter 2:23) He never accepted public praise because He knew what was in the hearts of men. (John 2:24). He made Himself of no reputation and became a man (Philip. 2:5-9) To crown this life of selflessness He died on the cross for all humanity.

The church of God would make a very big impact in our world if Christians were to take unto the Lord’s call to discipleship. Our faith in the Lord’s death and resurrection brings us into oneness with Jesus. Now we have put on Christ. (Galatians 3:27) His Spirit is now our very Spirit. (Gal 2:20,1 Corinth 6:17) We don’t struggle to live like Him, rather by faith we are one with Him. The spirit of discipleship is a selfless life constrained or motivated by Jesus’ love for us (2nd Corinth 5:14&15)

 CONFESSION

The love of Christ constrains me, so I live for Him, because I died with Him. I live by the ability of His Spirit alive in me.
