KEY SCRIPTURE :1 John 4:7 KJV” Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God”.

Every born-again Christian is born out of love. God our father is love. He or she has been imparted with the very love nature of the Father. Romans 5:5 KJV “And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us”.

He is not expected to quarrel with his or her close relatives because he is no more controlled by his senses. The senses or the physical instincts does not rule the born again child of God. The man who is ruled by his natural instincts or the flesh is a slave of Satan. Death has its toll over such a person. Romans 8:6. Just consider the state of the man who hates his neighbor. 1John 3:14 KJV” We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Hatred and division of any kind invites Satan to freely takeover the home, friendship, or whatever relationship that is concerned, to destroy the persons involved. An example of the results of hatred is divorce. If you have been born again, then hatred, divisions, fighting, are all alien to you.

What you must do, is to build that love consciousness into yourself.  Declare consistently that you are born of love and cannot hate anyone, no matter what they do. Say always to yourself that, it is Christ who is personally alive in you, so you are an extension of his nature manifesting His love to a hurting world. Say, I do not curse, but I bless. Build this love image into your being and demons would never be able to stand up to you.

I am a love child. I love all persons. There is none that I cannot love, because I am not led by my carnal instincts but by the word of God. There is peace and harmony in every place, I go.

The life of a Christian is a mystery. Every Christian is inseparably united to Jesus. He has the very life of Jesus living in him or her. As our scripture said, the old you died with Jesus. Romans 6:6 KJV Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him…. “.  Dear child of God the life pulsating presently in you is the very life of Jesus. Jesus’ life has taken over our natural life.

What is the implication of this? It means doing and manifesting like Jesus did. The vital part of this is to renew your mind in the light of this. Please note that the real-life force of any person is his spirit. The spirit of the man who is not born again is the nature or person he or she inherited from his parents.  Such a person is subject to any evil power in this life. The Christian is having the very life of Jesus. What an advantage. Diseases, bacteria, viruses, cancer, organ failure can’t over power the spirit of Christ which is now your life force.

 Understand who you are and take your stand in life. Don’t allow any of these stupid works of the devil to destroy you. (they can destroy you, if you allow them.) Refuse to let family altars to stop you. Give no place to sin, worry and mediocrity. He that is from above is above all. You are certainly from above. And above all. Hallelujah. Don’t stop telling yourself, the demons of hell, and the angels of God that the life of Jesus is your life.  You can never be a victim of Satan and the forces of this life. Shout it aloud, I am ruling my world to God’s glory.

CONFESSION

I have the very life of Jesus. I have the abilities of Jesus in me. I have escaped the corruption that is in the world. No disease can hang itself to my body, for the life of Christ in me destroys everyone of them in Jesus name.

An inheritance is to own something which was bequeathed to you. You never labor for something inherited. Health or good health according to the Bible has been bequeathed to everyone. This is not a promise yet to be fulfilled. Many people are suffering from all kinds of infirmities and are crying unto God for healing. Just consider what the Bible said, “Himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases. (Isaiah 53:4&5)

Please take a close look at that scripture. Jesus Himself ‘took’ away our infirmities and bore our diseases. If He took it then that thing is not there. What is that pain, swelling or deformity you have in your body. Is that thing an infirmity? Did He take away that infirmity? Did he bear our diseases?  What is that thing doing in your body? It is time you rise up and say, you dirty thing of hell you have no business hanging around my body. I curse you to die. James 4:7 KJV “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”. You must resist the devil.

Stop begging God for your healing, and rather receive it by faith, and thank Him for healing you.  Always declare you are healed and that, the devil is a liar. His power over your body is broken. Keep rejoicing over your healing and refuse to accept that you are sick. Dear child of God your healing or health has been bought and paid for. It has been given to you already. Rejoice about it. Amen

The phrase to cast down is the same meaning as condemn. It is from the Greek word ‘katakrino’. This word is also explained as judge and cast down. The tongue is the instrument God has ordained in our members to do this job. Isaiah 54:17 KJV” No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD”. Weapons fashioned against you will not prosper depending on what you do. You must condemn any weapon fashioned against you.

Many Christians are suffering in various forms because they have not heeded to this command. Any wrong suggesting that comes to your mind must be refused. Every bad feeling in the body must be condemned or cast out. If you have a negative prompting to do a wrong thing, please don’t be silent about it. It would soon take dominance over you, if you keep silent. Either say no or I refuse that thought. Every bad action is a response to a bad thought, refuse it

Many people will not be down with certain ailments if they had just said no, I refuse to allow this in my body. Even if the bad event has occurred just say I refuse to take this, and then stand your ground in faith. Every happening is subject to your approval or disapproval, to make it stay or not to stay. There is an immense authority in your mouth. Remember that what you stop, is stopped in heaven, and what you permit, is permitted in heaven. (Matthew 18:18)

I have authority in my mouth. I get what I say because I believe the word. Situations turn to favor me because I instruct them according to my expectation. My life is not controlled by outside forces but by the word on my lips.

My father, Opanin Kofi Somuah, who has gone to be with the Lord once advised me, ‘marry a woman with a cheerful countenance’. I followed his advice and will ever be grateful to him for that wise counsel. Indeed, there is everything good in a cheerful or merry heart. Our key scripture says, a merry heart or joyful spirit does good as medicine. This means, it heals the body.

Now let’s consider some of the benefits of a merry heart as scientific research has revealed. (A merry heart besides other things, is also triggered by laughter)

5 laughter burns calories if done for ten to fifteen minutes in the day.

10.Laughter improves mood.

12.Attracts others to you.

In the light of all these blessings and benefits of laughter, we must endeavour to take some time off each day to do some good laughter. Remember, it is God’s prescription for a healthy lifestyle.

Proverbs 17:22 KJV A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Don’t allow others to intimidate you from laughing. Don’t make your challenges stop you from laughing. Your laughter would put you over every problem very soon.

The advance learners dictionary defines culture as ideas customs and social behaviors of a particular people. Every Christian must be cultured by the Bible, if you are to be victorious in this life. Jesus said, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceed from the mouth of God. You must be filled with the word, believe the word, and the word must dictate your actions. A man who is cultured by the word has absolute dominance over sin. He has faith to overcome every challenge. He brings answers to many in trouble. Finally, he is controlled by love towards all persons.

One person who was so cultured by the word was our Lord Jesus. He was ever ready to answer the devil with the word. No challenge thrown at him overcame Him. He had faith for every situation. He was never afraid at any terrible situation. The word made Him master of all circumstances. The word in Him made Him such a wonderful character to relate with. Even children loved to come to Him.

We can likewise ride the storms of life if we would be cultured by the word. The word transforms you to what it says. (2nd Peter 1:4) God’s word controlling your mind, and fully trusted in your heart makes you like God himself. Jesus said all things are possible to him that believes. (Mark 9:23). To be cultured by the word.

 1.Feed on the word.

  2 Meditate on the word by saying the word to yourself as often as you can.

 3.Believe what the word says.

 4.Speak the word in all life situations

5.Do as the word says.

Your life would always bear the fruit of the word.

Jesus did not come into this life for Himself. He came because of mankind. He said The thief does not come, but when he comes, he comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). In the light of this, whatever he achieved and went through, He did it in our name and for us. Rom6:4 says the following. “Therefore, we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life”. The scripture said we were buried with Him by baptism, and raised together with Him. This is called identification. We are identified with Him in everything.

The Lord Jesus conquered death, took every sickness away and totally defeated the devil and his cohorts.  Col 2:15 KJV “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it”. He has won total victory over hell, death and all the demons of hell.  This victory is ours. So far as He is concerned there is no more any devil strong enough to mess any of us. From now on you must live in the consciousness of absolute victory over the devil and whatever he may bring your way.

The Christian is not struggling to be victorious over Satan. Jesus victory is our victory. It is a sure and total victory. It is an end to fear, anxiety and worry over whatever may come our way. No matter how difficult or terrible the situation or condition may be, our victory is a forgone matter. 2Co 2:14 KJV “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place”. Christianity is a life of inheritance. It is not a life of achievement. Whatever we achieve has already been done. We walk in our inheritance, so we show forth His glory. These great works we do are already achieved by Christ, so walk in our inheritance in Christ and experience all the already established great things. It is called grace. This is why there is no need to boast. It is a life of absolute victory, if we would walk in the inheritance of what Jesus has done. O! what a life

Who are you? Many of us would answer this question in the light of our natural lineage. In actual fact you are how you call yourself. Our Lord Jesus never made a mistake when he was declaring who He was.  He had taken the form of a man and became a servant to die on the cross (Phil 2:5& 6) His description of Himself amazed His hearers. He said I am the Light of the world. (John 8:12) He said God is my father (Luke 2:49). He said I and my father are one. John 10:30. They took stones to kill Him because of that.

Would you notice that Jesus never said even once in all His lifetime that he was the son of Joseph and Mary. He assured all those who needed help in one form or another that He could help them. Why did He speak this way? The Lord new that the spiritual state always rules over the natural. He always identified Himself with His spiritual lineage Hebrews 11:3. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God. Your words create your world. Your words form in the spirit and later manifest in the natural. Whenever you identify yourself with anything weak that is what you are. The word says God calls those things which be not as though they were (Rom 4:17) How do you call yourself? You are one Spirit with Jesus (1st Corinth 6:17) Say I am one with Jesus. Say I have the ability of Christ in me. I can heal the sick like He did. This is your true identity. Do you say I am the weak one? Do you say things are difficult for me? No, never talk like that. Rather say I am the strong one. I am the healed one. I am the blessed one.

Dear brother be careful how you speak. Your words define you. The bible says infants in the Lord are always under tutors and instructors. The Greek word for such people is Nepios

Galatians 4:1 KJV “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all”; The Bible defines such a one as ‘non speaking’. The implication is that they do not speak rightly. Not speaking rightly is not speaking according to the scriptures. His inheritance would never be delivered into his hands. Negative forces will easily rule over him. The inheritance is given to the adult son called huios” in Greek. The adult son or huios knows how to speak in line with God’s word. You are snared by the words of your mouth. You are also blessed by the words of your mouth. You also become what you say. Your words are your signature in the Spirit signing what should happen to you. Be careful what you say. According to Ps 45:1, your tongue is a pen. It signs decrees of your life.

Thank you, heavenly father for your word. It is my daily food. It is my compass in life. It is the words I speak. My world is ruled by the words from my mouth. No unwholesome word comes from my mouth. I live by God’s word. By His word in my mouth I conquer every difficulty and my way is made very prosperous.

What kind of food do you take? Are you taking milk or strong meat? Our key scripture says, there are some of us who instead of becoming teachers to teach others, are still infants who must be taught the very first principles of Christ. It says these people are still being given milk instead of strong meat. Babies cannot teach Others. Why are these people still babies who demand soft or liquid foods? Apostle Paul talks about such people in 1st Corinth 3:2 this way ,” I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able” .He calls these people carnal because they allow their flesh to dictate to them

My question is why do some Christians still remain as babies even after so many years of hearing God’s word? PLEASE GET THIS EXPLANATION. THE MILK OF THE WORD ARE THOSE WHO HEAR GOD’S WORD AND DO NOT APPLY IT. Little children who take milk don’t do any work, so if you don’t work with what you are receiving, then you are taking milk. Listen to what the Bible said about those who take meat. Hebrews 5:14 KJV “But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” Those who take strong meat have been using the word and so their senses have been exercised to know what is spiritual and carnal. These statements Imply, if you are not applying God’s word in your daily lives, then you are a user of milk.

THOSE who use milk, that is Christians who do not act on God’s word become easy prey to the devil. Satan is the God of this world. He has the systems of this world under his control. The only way to live outside his influence although you are in this world is to always act on the word of God. Satan cannot in any way control the man or woman who does not submit to his instruction. He cannot afflict you with diseases, bad habits, lack and any of his works if you always live according to the word. (The diseases may come but you would always overcome them) Refuse to be a baby, or a cheap pray of the devil. Decide to live above his works and enjoy a very. happy glorious life.

CONFESSION

Thank you, Father, for your word. I am a doer of your word and so I feed on the meat of the word. I am in control of my affairs in this life. Satan and his devils are under my control, because I live by a higher authority, that is the word of God. Thanks to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

KEY SCRIPTURE: Isaiah 58:7 KJV “Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?”

We conclude our discussions on the fast God will accept. In this study the Lord calls on us to go out of our way and show kindness during our time of fasting. Please note that in Matthew 6 the Lord Jesus talked about three Christian disciplines that the Christian must do, not optionally, but as an obligation. The Lord talked about prayer, fasting and giving to the needy. These things go together. Don’t only talk about fasting and prayer, but add to it giving to the needy in your moment of the fast.

In our key scripture the scripture said in the moment of your fast give your bread to the hungry. It suggests look out for the hungry and give food to him or her. Do this deliberately. The scripture says cloth the poor and bring the poor into your home (note: our current world has become very sophisticated so bringing certain people into your home may not be like it was in the culture of the Bible.) We must learn to show kindness in the times of our fast. The Lord calls on us to be very proactive in showing kindness and mercy in the days of your fast. Fasting is a comprehensive act. It involves prayer, abstaining from meals and giving to the needy. (Matthew chapter 6)

The Bible tells us certain things that would happen to us when we fast rightly.

1 The first thing is that your health would spring forth and if there be any sickness in your life, it shall die. Your righteousness will go forth. (Isaiah 58:8)

2.Your prayers shall be speedily answered (Isaiah 58:9)

3 You would no more be under obscurity; God’s glory shall be risen on you. Shame shall be no more. (Isaiah 58:10)

4.The Lord shall guide you in all things. He shall satisfy thy soul in drought, or prosperity would be your portion, thy bones shall be made fat or you would be immune to diseases, YOU would be like a watered garden.

5.You shall bring God’s revival to many generations (verse 13)

6.Isaiah 58:14 KJV Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and He will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Proper fasting is a great path to a blessed life and every Christian must approach it rightly and submit to the Lord?
