KEY SCRIPTURE: John 9:6 KJV “When he had thus spoken, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and he anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay,’

After making all the faith declarations Jesus had to go into action. The action motivated by faith is the vital step that would unlock the miracle you are anticipating. This is not trying your luck. There is no luck in relating with God. Luck is based on chance, and God does not function by chance. God will always come through for you if only you act in faith. In this very instant, the Lord did something different from His normal way of commanding the sick to be healed. He took some sand, spat on it and then placed it on the eye of the man.

Why did the master approach the healing of this man this way? Doing the works of God is always in partnership with the Holy Ghost. The Holy Spirit is our helper and leader. John 14:26. He shows us what to do, yet we must seek His guidance. In this particular event, the Lord asked Him what to do. He acted fully under the instructions of the Comforter.

One’s ability to effectively cooperate with the Holy Spirit depends on how he or she fellowships with Him. We fellowship with the Spirit as we;

1. Pray

2. Study the scriptures,

3. worship the Father

 4. Obey the general counsel of scripture,

 5.  Enquiring from Him, about what to do and how to do it.

The above are some of the ways a child of God may fellowship with the Spirit

Back to the healing of the man the Lord after smearing the dead eyes with the clay instructed him to go and wash. All these were done upon the instructions of the Holy Spirit. To be an effective minister of the gospel in various aspects, one must learn to hear from the Holy Spirit. The next is to obey every instruction he gives you. Any wild and outrageous instructions cannot come from Him. He will not ask you to do anything that contradicts the scriptures. As an example, He will not ask you to go and sleep in a cemetery for anything. 1Timothy 1:19 KJV” Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck:”

Heavenly Father, helps us to know the Holy Spirit, in a more intimate way. We pray to be more sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Grant us the wisdom to know any voice that does not come from the Holy Spirit, we have prayed in Jesus’ name.

THOUGHT:  We grow in knowing the Spirit through diligence in the things of the Spirit.

Rom 8:14 KJV” For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

Mark 16:20 KJV “And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”
