WORRY WOULD BLOCK YOUR ANSWER

KEY SCRIPTURE: Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?”

The admonishing in the key scripture, not to worry is very necessary when we have made our request unto God. Worry is a definite sign of the absence of joy and the Lord says in John 14:24, that He answers our requests so we may have joy to the full.

How can we be full of joy and victory when the circumstances look dark and we have needs in our lives? The normal response in such times is worry. Worry would definitely negate your prayer. Praying really involves giving God our cares. (1st Peter 5:7). To worry simply means no prayer has been made and therefore no answer can be anticipated.

How can we be full of joy when the demand and the challenges are great? This is the reason we must consistently build our confidence in the word through consistent acts of meditation and acting on the word. (Matt 7:21-27)

We must maintain our joy even though the challenge of financial, health or whatever situation we may be facing is imposing. Your joy in such times reveals your confidence in God and His word as well as living in the answer. (Philippians 4:4 “Rejoice in the Lord always).

Dear brother/sister, you would block or hinder God from helping you if you are going to worry and figure out how God is going to do it. In this way you have not cast the care unto God and you have not prayed at all.

God has assured us in Mark 11:24, that when you pray, believe that God has heard, answered and you have received your answer. This leaves no room for worry or mind tormenting imaginations. God has taken over and how He would do it is very simple for Him.

 PRAYER

Father, I am very grateful that your ears are always opened to my prayers. My heart is always full of joy after I have made the request because your ability to answer me has no limits and your word is forever settled in heaven, I thank you in Jesus’ name.

THOUGHT: WORRY WILL HINDER GOD FROM HELPING YOU, THEREFORE STOP WORRYING
